Hey guys! Today is Ash Wednesday and you know what that means? Well... if you're a Baptist, it's just another day. Another day for us to remember we are not bound to the calendar, but we are always called to repentance.

Hey! Today is Fat Tuesday, that is Mardi Gras... the Day before Ash Wednesday, which starts the 40 Days of Lent, that leads to Easter. And I know that Mardi Gras, Ash Wednesday and Lent are primarily Roman Catholic traditions, but I wanted to remind everyone that the Gospel invites us into a life of ongoing repentance and ongoing joy — not just special days for one or the other.
