Find a cross to donate to the church. Any size, any color, any type of cross; No restrictions, except that it must fit on the wall. The more variety, the better. Write your name on the back of the cross, but do not expect your cross to be returned to you. But one day, when someone takes the crosses down to create something new, someone can remember with fondness and give thanks for the someone who donated each cross. Remember, everything in a building is temporary! Bring your cross to the church and leave it in Belinda’s office. All crosses must be delivered to the church by July 31. We will dedicate the crosses to the glory of God during a worship service. This will be a beautiful tribute to God and to the awesome members of Columbiana UMC!

Tomorrow night is our first summer event. True Colors Party (think color run on the playground 😀) at CUMC for youth and kids. Ages 3 years old through senior in high school. Invite a friend because everyone is welcome! Drop off/sign in is at 6:00 pm at the drive through in the back off Depot Street and pick up is at 8:00 pm on the playground on Main Street.

Seventeen new UMC missionaries were commissioned by General Board of Global Ministries during a joyful service in Nairobi, Kenya.

Representing 10 countries and serving in 15, these missionaries step into roles in education, evangelism, leadership and community development across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Central America and beyond.

“This is the very heart of the work carried forward by The United Methodist Church—to send, to support, and to stand alongside those who bring healing, justice and hope in communities around the world.” shared Rev. Dr. John Maromba, Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church in Kenya.

Yesterday marked the start of our Confirmation journey!

Our youth and their confirmation leaders shared a meal together at Jim ‘N Nick’s before heading out to choose their very own Bibles - a special and meaningful moment for each of them.

A heartfelt thank you to the Men’s Fellowship for making this day possible!
