Seventeen new UMC missionaries were commissioned by General Board of Global Ministries during a joyful service in Nairobi, Kenya.

Representing 10 countries and serving in 15, these missionaries step into roles in education, evangelism, leadership and community development across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Central America and beyond.

“This is the very heart of the work carried forward by The United Methodist Church—to send, to support, and to stand alongside those who bring healing, justice and hope in communities around the world.” shared Rev. Dr. John Maromba, Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church in Kenya.

Yesterday marked the start of our Confirmation journey!

Our youth and their confirmation leaders shared a meal together at Jim ‘N Nick’s before heading out to choose their very own Bibles - a special and meaningful moment for each of them.

A heartfelt thank you to the Men’s Fellowship for making this day possible!

Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to help with the Sleep in Heavenly Peace bed build at CUMC. With your hard work, we were able to build 25 beds for children in foster care.
