Stay Connected to the Presence of God.
One of the greatest protections a believer can have in these last days is staying connected to the presence of God. The enemy is working hard to wear people down through distractions, busyness, stress, fear, and spiritual compromise. { Daniel 7:25 }says that the enemy would try to “wear out the saints of the most High.” When people become spiritually drained, many begin to neglect the very thing they need most — time in God’s presence. But the presence of God is where strength, peace, wisdom, discernment, and spiritual refreshing are found. The closer we stay to God, the stronger we become spiritually. His presence renews us, refreshes us, and equips us to stand firm in a world that is becoming increasingly dark and deceptive.
The world today is full of noise and distractions. Many people are constantly busy but spiritually empty. We must be careful not to allow life to become so crowded that we leave God out of our daily walk. Prayer is not just a religious duty; it is fellowship with the Lord. Worship is not just singing songs; it is drawing near to God with your heart. Reading the Bible is not just gaining information; it is feeding your spirit with life and truth. The enemy wants believers disconnected from God’s presence because he knows a spiritually dry believer becomes easier to discourage and weaken. But a believer who stays close to God will continue growing stronger even in difficult times. The fire of God remains alive in those who continually seek Him. Hebrews 12:29 reminds us that “our God is a consuming fire.” When we stay in His presence, His fire burns away spiritual dullness, complacency, and compromise, and the world will begin to see the evidence of His work in our lives.
Recently, the Lord spoke these words to my heart: “Son, I want you to stay in My presence more than ever before, and you will experience and see things unlike ever before.” I believe that word is not only for me, but for many believers in this hour. God is inviting His people into a deeper place of fellowship, intimacy, and communion with Him. Those who make His presence their priority will experience fresh revelation, greater spiritual sensitivity, renewed strength, and a closer walk with Him than they have ever known. There are things God wants to show us, teach us, and do through us, but they are discovered in His presence. Many believers are asking God for answers while spending little time with Him, yet the answers they seek are often found when they simply sit before Him and listen.
Today, make time for the presence of God. Slow down and spend quiet time with the Lord. Talk with Him, worship Him, and meditate on His Word daily. Don’t allow distractions to rob you of your relationship with Jesus. The closer you stay to God, the clearer your spiritual discernment becomes, and the stronger your faith will grow. In these last days, God is calling His people back to intimacy with Him. Stay connected to His presence, stay hungry for His fire, and allow yourself to be consumed by His love and glory. As you do, the Lord will strengthen, guide, protect, and sustain you. He will reveal things to you that you have never seen before, teach you things you have never understood before, and lead you into a deeper relationship with Him than you have ever experienced. The greatest days of walking with God are not behind us, they are still ahead of us for those who remain close to His presence.
