Father God,
Thank You for the strength you give to me each day.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

Thank You my Lord Jesus for Your strength and salvation which you freely offer to me.
Whenever I face temptations, I will overcome with Your strength and salvation
Because of this, I can build my life upon the Words of Jesus and lean upon You for my strength and help.

Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
Matthew 7:24-25

Jesus is my perfect example of overcoming Satan’s temptations as He quoted Scripture. (Matthew 4:1-11)

Please open my eyes, my ears, and my heart to Your Word and Your promptings today.

The giant soul asks, “Lord, give me strength sufficient for a hard day,” while the small soul begs, “Lord, let me have a lighter load.”
The busy soul prays, “Lord, stand with me until I finish my task,” while the weak soul says, “I got tired and quit.”

Father God,
I confess that I fall short of Your holiness.
And I experience the consequences of my sins.
My wrongdoing impacts my health, my relationships, my work, my future, my testimony.
Often it impacts others, and not just me.
Lord, teach me Your life-changing lessons to be holy like You...

As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance.
But just as he who called you is holy,
so be holy in all you do;
for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”
1 Peter 1:14-16

Let my life be more holy and more fully devoted to You, more pleasing to You, full of Your purpose and calling.
I ask for more of Your mercy, grace, and help.
May You be glorified in my life.
May new ministries and opportunities for my witness of You be released by You in my life.
And may I be yielded and in tune with Your will.
Please help me to become the person whom You have planned for me to be.
Thank You, Father, for Your work in my life and for Your protection and blessing over me.

Father God,
Today I pray for the children in my family, in my community and for children all around the world.
The pressures and stresses that have been brought on by social media alone are strong.
Please intervene in these children’s lives and hearts so that they may come to know Your love.
May their identity be grounded in You.
May they know that their worth comes from You.
I lift up the children that lonely, or are victims of bullying or are under the immense pressure to “fit in.”
Let Your Holy Spirit watch over them and protect their hearts and minds.
Please help me to be an encouragement to the children in my life.
I pray for a generation of children that will grow into strong followers of Jesus and who will work towards making the world a place full of God’s grace and love.
Please help each child to grow as Jesus did...
And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature,
and in favor with God and men.
Luke 2:52

Father God,
Thank You for Your Son Jesus, the Creator of all things from whom all life flows, the Light that shines in the darkness...

In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him,
and without Him nothing was made that was made.
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
And the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John 1:1-5

Jesus is the strong Branch reaching out to hold me up and the one who has saved my soul.
Jesus completes The Holy Trinity, all of whom I can go to when I need a fresh anointing, a new start, shelter from the storms of life.
Thank You for giving me new life.
Thank You for providing fresh starts and second chances.
Thank You for the boundless opportunities that You provide.
I reach up to hold fast to Jesus, the Branch.
In Jesus' name I come to You, and I praise You,
Amen.

Father God,
Creator and Ruler of all.
You are the Most High God, El Elyon, the God who rules Heaven and Earth, as described in today's devotional.
I lift You up and praise You for who You are, for Your great works and for Your greater love.
I thank You for Jesus, my Lord, my savior and my Great Intercessor, who supports me and lifts me and points me to You.
You have shown me so much mercy and love.
I long for a closer fellowship with You and I need Your spiritual power today.
Please help me today and every day to come to You and to accept Your direction and Your blessings.
May I be Your faithful servant and Your loving child all the days of my life.

Father God,

I call upon Your name today in humble admiration.

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit that I may worship You in my words and actions.

Today, I celebrate Jesus's birth and the fact that He came down to Earth as a babe.

You have known me since before I was born and You have been with me every step of the way.

When the wise men approached baby Jesus for the first time...

They saw the child with Mary his mother,
and they fell down and worshiped him.
Matthew 2:11

I too worship Jesus.

Thank You for saving me.

Father God,
I want to thank you for being such a loving heavenly father.
You know the challenges that parents face.
You know the needs of children.
I pray that you will help parents to have your full measure of love for their children.
I pray that you will give wisdom to parents.
Every child needs love.
I pray for Biblical values to be imparted into parent's hearts, minds, and spirits.
I pray an extra special blessing for single parents who parent alone.
Thank you for hearing my prayer.
And thank you for being such a loving Father God.

Lord God,
I am so thankful that You have called me to Your divine purpose on this earth.
I am grateful for Your salvation in Jesus and the power You have given me through Your Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus,
I praise Your name, which is above all names...

Therefore God also has highly exalted Him

I lift up to You all those who are weary in their labors.
I pray for strength, encouragement, peace, motivation, wisdom, guidance, rest, and for provision for their every need.
Please have mercy and lift them up through the power and help that only You can give.
I know that You will answer the cries of their hearts; that You will revive their exhausted minds and bodies; that You will invigorate their spirits if they will only trust in You to be their ever-present help.
Help those who suffer from unbelief, that they will believe as they see Your love and power at work in their lives.
Please bless those who love and serve You.
Thank You Jesus, for Your promise to give rest to all those who labor and heavy laden....

Father in Heaven,
There are so many couples who long to have children.
I pray for those families, that you will anoint them and bless the desire of their hearts.
And, there are many children who long to have parents and a stable family to love and care for them.
I pray that you will give them hope and bless the desire of their hearts.
Please join together loving parents and children into loving families.
Please meet their needs and show your hand of blessing in their lives.
Thank you for hearing this prayer and for working in these special families.
