A group of youth got to volunteer at SACA's new location on Friday, July 10th to shop and take food out to community members.

SACA will be having a Grand Opening Celebration at their new location on Friday, July 17th beginning at 4:30 pm (program at 4:45 pm). Come on out and see the new location and join in the Grand Opening Celebration!

Next Sunday (July 12) is the day we will be celebrating Pastor Hugo's 30 years in ordained ministry.

There will be a potluck salad luncheon and short program immediately following the service. 30 years is a milestone in any career and we want to celebrate accordingly, so bring your favorite salad to share and join us for a time of celebration and fellowship!

And while it may go without saying, serving in the ministry is clearly not an 8-5 M-F kind of role that you leave behind when the ‘workday’ is done….as we celebrate Pastor’s accomplishments, we also want to celebrate and recognize Brenda and the ways she has been called to serve these past 30 years as well.

If you are unable to attend, but want to send a card or note of appreciation/congratulations, you may send those to the church office.

Join us on Sunday morning at 8:30 for Bible Class where we will be discussing the readings from the week.

The Discipleship Vision Board and Staff ask you to please mark your calendars for Sunday, July 12th, as we celebrate Pastor Hugo’s 30 years in ordained ministry. This week, we are reading through 1 Peter as a church in the 5x5x5 New Testament Journal. If you haven't been keeping up, this is a great time to join back in!

On Tuesday morning, a group from St. Matthew and DCLC were able to attend the Peace Breakfast. It was a time to celebrate community during Metro Surge and how we can carry peace forward in our community.

This weekend starts our Summer Education schedule.

Adults and Youth meet for Bible class at 8:30 am Sunday mornings in the Fellowship Hall and online. Children were given Summer Sunday School packets to do at home with their families.
