Nobody noticed her.
No applause.
No recognition.
Just two small coins.
In Mark 12, while everyone else was watching the large gifts being given, Jesus noticed the widow.
He called His disciples over and pointed her out. Not because she gave the most, but because she trusted the most.
Others gave out of abundance. She gave out of what she had.
But Jesus stopped.
Because Heaven measures differently than we do. Where others saw small, Jesus saw trust. Where others saw an amount, Jesus saw surrender.
This story reminds us that God isn’t impressed by appearances or performance.
He sees the heart.
Never underestimate what God can do through a surrendered heart.
