There is room for your questions here.

650+ people are taking part in OCIA at St. Mary’s this fall, learning about the Catholic faith, asking questions, and growing closer to Jesus.

And there is still room for you.

More than 650 people are taking part in OCIA at St. Mary’s this fall.

It is a remarkable number, and one we are incredibly grateful for. But the number itself is not the whole story.

God was at work in the lives of these men and women long before they walked through our doors. Now, St. Mary’s has been given the privilege of walking with them as they learn, pray, and freely discern where the Lord may be leading them.

Read the story, learn what 650+ in OCIA actually means, and most importantly, please pray for them.

Last night, more than 1,600 students gathered for Magnify.

Fr. Gregory Pine joined us for a talk, followed by praise and worship and time before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.

And after Magnify, the night kept going with a country dance and live band!

We are grateful for a night of prayer, community, and joy, and most of all for the gift of gathering together in the presence of Christ.

Please keep our students in your prayers as the semester begins.

Also, mark your calendars: on October 8, we will take Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament out onto campus for our Eucharistic Procession. We hope you’ll join us.

We are off to a great start at St. Mary’s!

Thousands of students have come through our doors for our events during Howdy Week, and it is starting to feel a little more like home around here.

The welcome events may be winding down, but there is still plenty of time to get involved. If you know a student looking for a place to grow in faith and community, encourage them to join a small group, a place to encounter Christ, His Church, and other students seeking to follow Him.

Please join us in praying for our students as they begin a new semester, that the Lord would meet them here and draw them closer to Himself.

What a joyful first weekend back at St. Mary’s!

As students returned to Bryan–College Station, we welcomed more than 6,000 people through our doors and celebrated two 8:45 AM Masses at the same time, one in the Church and one in the Historic Chapel.

Please join us in praying for our students as they begin a new school year. May they remain close to Christ, grow in friendship, and find a home here at St. Mary’s.

To help welcome everyone, we will again celebrate two 8:45 AM Masses this Sunday, August 30. We will do this on select weekends throughout the semester so that as many people as possible can join us for Mass.

August 29–30 Mass times:
Saturday: 5:30 PM
Sunday: 8:45 AM in both the Church and Historic Chapel, 11 AM, 1 PM (Spanish), and 6 PM

“Live your faith, serve one another, and become the person Christ is calling you to become.”

As a new school year begins, Bishop Daniel E. Garcia has a message for our students: you have a home in the Church.

We’re grateful to Bishop García for welcoming our students to the Diocese of Austin, praying for them, and encouraging them to stay close to Jesus and the sacraments.

Our students are part of the Church here in the Diocese of Austin, and we’re grateful to have a bishop who knows them, prays for them, and wants them to grow closer to Christ.

Please join Bishop García in praying for our students as they begin a new year.

We were grateful to welcome Fr. Chris Haberberger ’16 and Fr. Brian McNaughton ’19, who joined our associate pastor, Fr. Cameron Kologinczak ’21, in celebrating a Mass for our staff. All three men are former students who were ordained to the priesthood earlier this year!

What a gift to have them back at St. Mary’s for a day!

What a joy to welcome 10 people into deeper communion with the Church this weekend.

Please join us in praying for them as they continue to follow Christ and live out the grace of the sacraments.

After many years of faithful service to St. Mary’s Catholic Center, Rachael Cadena '01 will be stepping away from staff this June 2026.

Over the years, Rachael has served this community in countless ways and has quietly helped generations of students encounter Christ and feel at home in His Church. Her impact on Aggieland reaches far beyond what most people will ever fully know.

We are deeply grateful for her years of ministry, friendship, sacrifice, and love for this community.

If Rachael has impacted your life in some way, we’d love to invite you to leave her a note of gratitude and share a memory or message here:
https://www.aggiecatholic.org/rachael

In the coming weeks, we’ll share a more formal story honoring Rachael’s years at St. Mary’s and the lasting impact of her ministry on the Aggie Catholic family.

As we celebrate Rachael and all she has meant to St. Mary’s, we are also beginning the search for the next person who will step into this role and continue serving the mission of forming apostles for the Church and the world.
