After many years of faithful service to St. Mary’s Catholic Center, Rachael Cadena '01 will be stepping away from staff this June 2026.

Over the years, Rachael has served this community in countless ways and has quietly helped generations of students encounter Christ and feel at home in His Church. Her impact on Aggieland reaches far beyond what most people will ever fully know.

We are deeply grateful for her years of ministry, friendship, sacrifice, and love for this community.

If Rachael has impacted your life in some way, we’d love to invite you to leave her a note of gratitude and share a memory or message here:
https://www.aggiecatholic.org/rachael

In the coming weeks, we’ll share a more formal story honoring Rachael’s years at St. Mary’s and the lasting impact of her ministry on the Aggie Catholic family.

As we celebrate Rachael and all she has meant to St. Mary’s, we are also beginning the search for the next person who will step into this role and continue serving the mission of forming apostles for the Church and the world.

This past Saturday, April 25th, we witnessed something beautiful!

107 souls were sealed with the Gift of the Holy Spirit through the Sacrament of Confirmation, administrated by Bishop Daniel E. Garcia – Diocese of Austin

Please keep our newly confirmed in your prayers as they step into the fullness of their faith, and please keep the 250+ who are preparing to enter into full communion with the Church in November.

This July, Fr. Fernando Ricaud will begin a new assignment at the University Catholic Center in Austin, sent by Bishop Garcia.

We’re grateful. We’re proud. And we’re praying for him as he goes.

Take a moment to pray for him today or tell him thank you the next time you see him.

God bless & Gig ’em 👍

What a beautiful semester.
Take a look back at this spring and all that it held.
We’re so thankful for each of you and the ways you make St. Mary’s what it is.

Alongside the 61 who were baptized, 67 souls entered into full communion with the Catholic Church at the Easter Vigil this year. They made a profession of faith and were received, confirmed, and received the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist for the very first time. What was longed for has now been fulfilled.

Here are the photos from their Confirmation.

Please pray for our newly received. Welcome home.

Last night, we gathered for our final Magnify of the semester, right in the heart of the Easter Octave.

What a gift to celebrate the Resurrection together in prayer, worship, and Adoration.

This weekend, every gift is doubled!

Because of the generosity of our matching donors, all donations will be matched up to $100,000.

What you give today helps ensure that St. Mary’s remains a place where college students encounter Christ, grow in faith, and learn how to walk with others.

Thank you.

With hearts full of gratitude to Almighty God, we rejoice with Holy Mother Church as we welcome 128 souls into the fullness of the Faith this Easter Vigil. 61 received the grace of Baptism and 67 made their Profession of Faith, entering into full communion with the Catholic Church.

These new Catholics were baptized, confirmed, and received their First Holy Communion, emerging as new creations, clothed in white and holding candles lit from the Paschal flame, sharing now in the very light of Christ.

Here are the photos from the baptisms.

Pray for our neophytes!
