With a foundation dating back to the 1870's, Shady Grove Wesleyan Church has striven to be a community and family based church. Our church exists to bring HOPE to the Triad and to the World by exalting Christ in worship, encouraging personal growth through discipleship, enlisting the converted into our church in fellowship, equipping believers for ministry, and sharing our faith through evangelism.

🍂 Shady Grove Fall Festival 2026! 🍂

What a beautiful day for fun, fellowship, and community! We loved seeing families enjoy the games, inflatables, face painting, cotton candy, popcorn, and most importantly, time together.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who volunteered, served, and helped make this event possible. We are so thankful for our church family and the opportunity to open our doors and share God’s love with our community! 💙

Our Young at Heart Senior Group enjoyed a wonderful day of fellowship, fun, and exploring together! The group started with lunch at Snappy’s before taking a guided bus tour to learn about the history of Mt. Airy, see sights connected to The Andy Griffith Show, and visit the famous granite quarry.

They also visited the Andy Griffith Museum and the Siamese Twins Museum, enjoyed free time exploring downtown Mt. Airy, and stopped by Central United Methodist Church to admire its beautiful stained-glass windows. It was a great day of fellowship, fun, and making memories together! 😊
