Kroc Church Coeur d'Alene

Kroc Church Coeur d'Alene Kroc Church is simply a group of people with a common desire to follow and love Jesus. At Kroc Church, we don't gather to put on a show or impress one another.

We are part of The Salvation Army, an international movement, which is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. We strive to be honest about who we are, and our goal is to simply glorify God with our lives; it is the grace of God that motivates us. We hope to point our community to Jesus. Being part of The Salvation Army Kroc Center allows us a number of different ways to create comm

unity. It doesn't matter who you are or where you find yourself in life, if you want to get closer to Jesus and you want to build Christian community, we would love to have you join us.

Memorial Day is more than the unofficial start of summer—it is a sacred reminder that our freedom has been freely given to us at a great cost. Today we honor the men and women who laid down their lives in service to others, remembering their courage, sacrifice, and love for their country. We think of and pray for their families who have been forever changed by their sacrifice for each of us. We give thanks for their willingness to give everything, which reflects the words of Jesus: “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” (John 15:13).

As we gather with family and friends today, may we pause to give thanks not only for the freedoms we enjoy, but also for the God who is near to the grieving, the brokenhearted, and those who carry loss. Let Memorial Day remind us to live with gratitude, humility, and compassion—never taking for granted the sacrifices made on our behalf.
