There were many wonderful parts of the Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival, including this procession of faith leaders from affirming faith communities. Other communities were present at the parade but pictured here are Rabbi Rick and Rabbi Laura and leaders from The Big Red Church of Fresno, St James Episcopal Cathedral, United Japanese Christian Church, New Thought Community, Hope Lutheran Church Fresno, Wesley United Methodist Church of Fresno, California, Grace Community Church, UCC. Willow Avenue Mennonite Church was grateful and proud to be in that number with communities that have led the way for making religious communities safe and affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ people! Look for us at the Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival this Saturday June 6th. We'll be in the parade and then at the festival afterwards. Here's some of the goodies we'll have at the festival booth - rainbow flag and heart stickers, packets of California Poppy Seeds, tickets to our screening of 1946: The Mistranslation that Shifted Culture, a free coloring book featuring the 12 birds and plants that were in our Watershed Art Project, and more!

How time flies! It's almost time for the 2026 Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival and Willow Avenue Mennonite Church will be there again. This year the parade is June 6th and starts at 10am.
