Thousands of cleaning kits have been requested of the MERCI outreach center to help in the clean up from Hurricane Helene. Another way to support this effort is to purchase supplies off the UMCOR Cleaning Kit Supplies Amazon wishlist to be shipped directly to the MERCI warehouse. This will provide needed supplies for the volunteers to assemble and ship out to support efforts in Western NC. Please consider assembling cleaning kits or sending supplies to be added to kits. The MERCI outreach center has received requests for thousands of cleaning buckets to assist with Hurricane Helene cleanup in Western North Carolina and other impacted states. Please consider making at least one cleaning bucket and bringing it to Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church or other drop-off points listed in the article. Instructions for the cleaning buckets are found in the link as well. If you need your cleaning bucket picked up, comment below or message us to arrange a pickup.
