Mother’s Day 2026 at Sharon Church was a special day to remember the mothers. R.F. Fann and Gentry Kamp blessed us with a beautiful song, “Scars in Heaven.” Then Pastor Chuck Gentry shared the written words of the legacy that his mother left to her children. The men presented the mothers with goody bags and a future prepared meal.

Our Sharon Church family enjoyed a night of good food and fellowship on Family Night, Wednesday, April 29th. Hamburgers with all the trimmings and tasty desserts were provided. A special “Thank You” to Jeff Kamp and David Alphin for grilling the delicious hamburgers!

What a special day on Sunday, April 26, to recognize Mrs. Hattie Jane Vann on her 85th birthday. She was honored with a special song by great grandson, Emmett Fields singing “What a Mighty God We Serve.” James and Amy Fields, accompanied on piano by Mary Naylor, also honored her beautifully by singing “God On the Mountain.” Mrs. Hattie Jane is a virtuous, strong, and faithful lady and we love and appreciate her. Our Sharon Church family wishes her many more happy birthdays!

What a great Women’s Ministries Day 2026 at Sharon PH Church, led by our director, Roberta Vann. We were blessed to have Rev. Rose Boyd as our guest speaker. She shared in song, scripture, and an uplifting message entitled, “Living in the ‘Nevertheless’ Moment.” She reminded us that God has a plan for all. The beautiful flowers were given in her honor by the Sharon PH Church Women’s Ministries. Thank you to Rev. Rose Boyd and everyone who made this day so special.

Sunday services were special in honoring and surprising R F Fann for his 58th birthday. It was also a day of showing our appreciation for his years of love, faithfulness, and dedication to Sharon PH Church. The beautiful flowers were given in his honor by Hope Royal. Roberta Vann, WM Director, spoke of “ The Characteristics of a Godly Man” and then presented R F with a “Basket of Love.”

On January 11. 2026, our newest Council Member, Gentry Kamp, was installed during the Sunday service by Pastor Chuck Gentry. The church also recognized outgoing Sharon Church Council Member, Ginger Tew, for her 16 years of faithful service to the Church Council.

First Sunday of the New Year 2026! Our service began with a song, “There’s a New Kid in Town,” beautifully sung by Gentry Kamp, Roberta Vann, and R F Fann. Hope Royal blessed us with a song, “Why Should I Worry?” Rose Boyd delivered our morning message from Romans 8:26-28. She encouraged us to put our trust in the Lord for the New Year and to be at peace. She concluded our service singing a beautiful song, “Come, Jesus Come” and prayer.
