Baby Jackson Update

Church family, we want to thank you for faithfully praying for Baby Jackson and his family.

Do you still believe in miracles? Because today, we have certainly seen one.

Baby Jackson is here! He weighed 5 lbs. 11 oz. at birth and, praise the Lord, he was breathing on his own and continues to breathe on his own. He is currently in the NICU with a wonderful team of doctors who are continuing to evaluate and care for him.

There are still some tests ahead, and the doctors are continuing to look into possible genetic or skeletal concerns. We are not completely out of the woods yet, but right now, Jackson is doing great! Many of the concerns doctors anticipated at birth have not occurred.

We have also received encouraging news that, if things continue to go well, Baby Jackson could be home with his parents in 2–3 weeks.

We prayed for a miracle, and today we are praising God for what He has done!

Ephesians 3:20 — “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…”

We were blessed to celebrate Parent/Baby Dedication with four wonderful families as they committed to raising their little ones to know and love the Lord.

We are thankful for each of these precious children and their families. May our church always surround them with love, encouragement, and prayer as they grow in their faith.

We had a wonderful day at CBC as we celebrated Back to School Sunday! It was such a blessing to worship together, pray over our students, teachers, and school staff, and kick off a brand-new school year.

We also want to congratulate Everleigh James, who received a special award from Mrs. Nina for completing Summer in the Psalms. What an incredible accomplishment! We’re so proud of Everleigh for spending her summer growing in God’s Word.

Finally, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Martha Poppell!

There are so many things that happen behind the scenes to make CBC Kids Club and our children’s ministry what it is, and Mrs. Martha is a huge part of that. Week after week, she pours her time, energy, creativity, and love into our children, always pointing them to Jesus.

From planning and organizing to encouraging kids and volunteers alike, her servant’s heart is a tremendous blessing to our church family. We are incredibly grateful for all she does and for the countless lives she has impacted through her faithful service.

Mrs. Martha, thank you for loving our kids so well and for faithfully serving the families of Climax Baptist Church. We love and appreciate you!

Back to School Sunday is almost here at Climax Baptist Church!

Join us this Sunday for a special day as we kick off a brand-new school year together!

Special Guest Speaker: Our very own Kevin Brooks will be bringing God’s Word.

Backpack Blessing: Bring your backpacks as we take time to pray over our students, teachers, administrators, and school staff for the year ahead.

Sunday School Move-Up Day: Kids will be moving up to their new classes!

Team Spirit Sunday: Wear your favorite team’s colors or jersey and join in the fun.

Covered Dish Lunch: After the morning service, stick around for a time of food and fellowship in the Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite dish to share if you can!

There’s something for the whole family, and we’d love to have you with us as we begin this new season by putting Christ first.
