Our 2026 VBS Registration is open!

Our theme this year will be “Illumination Station” and it will shine a light on Jesus’s character. While many people claim to know about Jesus, many are in the dark about who He really is. During VBS, kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals the word of God.

VBS Info:
Dates: July 20-24
Time: 5:30-7:30pm
Location: Whigham Methodist Church
Dinner: Provided

Our Parents’ Night and Pool Party will be on Friday, July 24 at the Tired Creek Country Club! Parents and children will meet at the club pool instead of WMC this day. We will have swimming, fun, and pizza! 🍕☀️🩱

Our children attended Camp Crosspoint this week, and what a week it was! ☀️🏕️

We are so grateful for a local camp where our kids can grow, learn about the Gospel, try new things, and have loads of fun together.

A special thank you to our bus drivers for faithfully and safely transporting our children to and from camp each day. Your willingness to serve is such a blessing to our church family! 💛

What an incredible week our teens had at Camp Realife Blue Springs in Marianna, Florida! Our campers this year were:

Syrus Hawthorne
Jane Ann Cox
Tez Hadley
Madelyn Meredith

They enjoyed kayaking, paintball, exploring the caverns, painting, riding the riverboat, being tossed off the blob, and making s’mores around the campfire!

But beyond all the fun activities, the most important part of the week was seeing our students grow closer to the Lord. Throughout camp, our teens spent time praising and worshiping God, learning about His Word from Pastor Robert Martin, building friendships, and strengthening their faith.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for our group. We are grateful for the safe travels, memories made, and the ways God worked in the hearts of our teens this week!

We’re having our food pantry this Thursday, May 21 from 2-4pm for anyone in need of food or prayer! We open the pantry on the third Thursday of every month. The food will be distributed from the Fellowship Hall. Please share and get the word out! We hope to help as many people as possible.

🎓 Yesterday we celebrated Syrus!

What a blessing it has been to watch you grow, not only in knowledge, but in your faith. As you move forward into this next season, we pray you continue to seek the Lord in all you do.
