It’s easy to look like a Christian when we’re at church. But what about the rest of the week? 👀

How do we treat the cashier who’s taking forever? The coworker who gets on our nerves? The person who interrupts our plans? What comes out of us when we’re frustrated, inconvenienced, tired, or when nobody we know is watching?

Following Jesus isn’t something we turn on for Sunday morning. If He is changing us, it should show up in ordinary places—in our words, our reactions, our patience, our kindness, and the way we love people. ❤️ Maybe the question for today isn’t simply, “Do people know I’m a Christian?” but “Can they see Jesus in the way I live?”

📖 “Those who say they live in God should live their lives as Jesus did.” — 1 John 2:6

As believers, we gather because it is a privilege to worship God, hear His Word, be corrected, strengthened, and have fellowship with His people.

Let us also learn to treasure the Lord’s Day. Sunday is not just another free day—it is a time to remember Christ, who gave Himself to save us.

“Not neglecting to meet together but encouraging one another.” — Hebrews 10:25

Come to church not merely to attend, but to worship the Savior who gave Himself for you. 🤍

"It is possible to spend years talking about God… and very little time actually with Him.

We can know the sermons.
Know the Scriptures.
Know the theology.
Have Christian friends.
Attend church faithfully.

And still neglect the secret place.

Paris Reidhead put it sharply:

“Most Christians do not have fellowship with God; they have fellowship with each other about God.”

There is a difference between knowing about God and walking with God.

We can discuss prayer without praying.
Talk about His presence without seeking Him.
Study His Word without allowing it to search our own hearts.

Even good Christian fellowship can never replace fellowship with Christ Himself.

Jesus did not call us merely to know things about Him.

He called us to abide in Him.

“Abide in me, and I in you.” — John 15:4

Maybe the question isn't, “How much do I know about God?”

Maybe it is:

If every Christian voice around me went silent, would I still know how to meet with God alone?

Don’t settle for only knowing about Him.

Know Him. Walk with Him. Abide in Him.
