In Mark 5:23–24, Jairus came desperately seeking Jesus to heal his dying daughter. What began as an urgent mission quickly became interrupted along the way. Yet in the middle of the delay, Jesus revealed that even interruptions are part of God’s divine purpose.

This sermon, A Divine Interruption, reminds us that God is still at work when our plans are delayed, our prayers seem unanswered, and our situations take unexpected turns. What appears to be a setback may actually be a setup for God to display His power, strengthen our faith, and reveal His glory in ways we never imagined.

This sermon challenges the rise of a divided faith, where profession and practice no longer align, and calls believers to reject nominal Christianity in favor of wholehearted devotion.

As the world competes for our allegiance and cultural Christianity blurs the line between truth and compromise, we are reminded that God does not share His throne. There is no middle ground—no dual allegiance—only a call to surrender fully to Christ.
