Dear Lord God,
I am a follower of Jesus, and as a Christian I am in Your “Full-Time” Christian service.
Jesus spoke these words to his Disciples, and to each of his Christian followers like me. This Great Commission from Jesus is the culmination of Matthew's Gospel...

“All authority has been given to Me
in heaven and on earth.
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you;
and lo, I am with you always,
even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19

Some Christians are called to other nations. Please bless, protect and provide for each of them, as Your Christian missionaries.
Thank You that I am called to minister in my home, in my church, in my school, in my workplace and in my community.
I am called by You to minister to others and to worship You wherever I am.
Please Lord God, help me to see my daily activities as a means to serve and to worship You, and to bless others in Your name.
Please demonstrate Your power through my life so that others might be drawn to You through my witness today.
Thank You my loving and all-powerful God and my friend.

Dear Father God,
Thank You that You are the God of mercy, grace and second chances.
I thank You for forgiving me and for welcoming me back during the times of my life when I strayed from You and when I was disobedient to You.
You are the good, good Father who welcomes prodigals like me home when they return to You, as Jesus told us...

And he (the prodigal son) arose and came to his father.
But when he was still a great way off,
his father saw him and had compassion,
and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.
Luke 15:20

I’m so sorry for sinning against You and against the loved ones in my life.
Please forgive me.
Please help me and keep me close to You.
I want to stay on the right course, with the right attitude, and the right desires.
Let me follow Your plan and Your path for my life...

Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
Psalms 119:105

Thank You Lord God, for Your loving kindness, Your grace, and Your mercy.
I praise You for who You are.

Dear Father God,
I seek first Your Kingdom, with all my heart, as Jesus taught us...

Seek first the Kingdom of God
and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to You.
Matthew 6:33

I know that the things of this earth shall all pass away, and only the treasure laid up in heaven will matter, which Jesus explained...
..but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust destroys
and where thieves do not break in and steal.
Matthew 6:20

Please let my life count for You and for Your Kingdom, especially with the children which You have placed around me. Let me make children my priority, as Jesus did...

Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.
But Jesus called them to Him and said,
“Let the little children come to Me,
and do not forbid them;
for of such is the kingdom of God.
Assuredly, I say to you,
whoever does not receive the kingdom of God
as a little child will by no means enter it.”
Luke 18:15-17

My Father God, I thank You for the gift of every child. Let me pray for and bless each child that I see today.

Dear Father God,
I want to thank You that the Christian faith continues to increase throughout the world as Jesus declared...

And this gospel of the kingdom
will be preached in all the world
as a witness to all the nations,
and then the end will come.
Matthew 24:14

Thank You for the faith of those who influenced and touched my life so that I now have a growing faith in You.
Thank You for Your Word, The Bible, that shines Your light and provides hope for me each day...

Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭119‬:‭105

Please strengthen me and grant me courage and wisdom to live my life completely for You...

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all liberally and without reproach,
and it will be given to him.
‭‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭5‬

Please use me to reach others with Your great love and mercy.
I pray that my family and friends will come to know that You are God, The Holy One who created us and loves us, and that each person will come to know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.
Please reign in my life now and forevermore, as Jesus taught us to pray...

Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for this beautiful new day.
Thank You for the seasons that change and the awesome wonder of Your creation that You have displayed for us today.
Thank You for cool breezes at the end of hot, dry days.
Thank You for the colorful leaves that flutter and the beautiful array of leaves and flowers everywhere around me.
Thank You for big orange pumpkins and crisp sweet apples.
Thank You for family together times, for friends and festivals, and for all of Your abundant blessings each and every day..

Thank You for watching over me, for keeping me safe, for protecting my loved ones, and for meeting our every need...

The LORD is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
Psalm 23:1

I pray for those who are in want, that You will bless each one and bring provision into each of their lives, and please use me to bless others in Your holy name today.
Thank You for pursuing me, and for letting me catch You. I won't let You go....

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,

Dear Father God,
Thank You for showing me how to live my life in a world full of conflicting ideas...

Apply your heart to instruction
and your ears to words of knowledge
Proverbs 23:12

I’m trying to examine myself in light of that Scripture.
Please help me to receive Your instructions in The Bible and to apply them to my life.
Please help me to hear Your words of knowledge for me as I read my Bible, as I pray, as I speak with my Christian Friends, and as I listen for my Shepherd's voice, as Jesus taught us...

My sheep hear My voice,
and I know them,
and they follow Me.
John 10:27

I pray that I will always hear You clearly and follow you for all the days of my life.
Help me to receive Your instructions and directions throughout this day.
I want to have the right attitude and the right motives for all that I do, so that I can bring glory to You.
I pray that whatever service I give to You today, that it will be out of love and as a result of my devotion to You.

Dear Lord Jesus,
You paid the greatest price, and You paid it all...

Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.

You made the greatest sacrifice.
You are spotless and without sin.
You took my sin, and everyone's sin, upon Yourself and You took my place of punishment on the cross.
Thank You for Your great love for me and for all people.
Thank You that You provide life and the way to forgiveness and restoration for each person.
Thank You for taking Your own blood to the mercy seat to atone for the sin of all who come to You, all who confess their sins, all who believe, trust and follow You.
May I always follow You...

Then Jesus said to His disciples,
“If anyone desires to come after Me,
let him deny himself,
and take up his cross,
and follow Me."
Matthew 16:24

It is my joy to deny myself, to take up my cross and to follow You.

Dear Father God,
More and more I am concerned with my physical fitness and good health.
And what about my spiritual fitness and health?
I know You made me and You want me to take care of my body, and more important is my spiritual health.
I want to do what Paul wrote to Timothy...

Train yourself to be godly.
For physical training is of some value,
but godliness has value for all things,
holding promise for both the present life
and life to come.
1 Timothy 4:7-8).

Please help me to work on strengthening my faith in addition to strengthening my body.
Let me be pleasing to You my Father God.

Help me to be a good witness to those around me.
I want to grow closer to You and I want to point others to my Savior and my Lord Jesus Christ.
Lord, please strengthen me for Your service today.
In the powerful name of Jesus I pray,
Amen.
