✝️Sunday Reflection: “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” Galatians 5:16–25✝️
Change is hard. The world tells us to “do your own thing,” but the pleasures of the world are temporary. The fruit of God’s Kingdom is everlasting.
How do we live in the Kingdom of God? We turn our eyes upon Jesus.
When God becomes the center of our day, abundant life begins to take shape: a life filled with joy, purpose, and spiritual fulfillment. It doesn’t happen overnight. We are called to abide in Christ, push out the things that pull us away from Him, and allow His work in us to grow over time.
Worry won’t solve our problems, but Christ will strengthen us.
Replace the things of the world with the things of God. Replace frustration with prayer. Replace temptation and bitterness with service. Steep yourselves in worship. Feed on the Word of God, our spiritual food. Serve others. Build people up rather than serving ourselves.
What is the answer to the dilemma of making our own choices? Turn your eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.
May we show Christ in everything we do and allow Him to change our atmosphere, our hearts, and our lives. Have a blessed week church family 🙏💜. Link to today's service: https://youtu.be/M3nWxNdSHwQ?si=33DNVrG1VmI5P6tz
