✝️Sunday Reflection: “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” Galatians 5:16–25✝️

Change is hard. The world tells us to “do your own thing,” but the pleasures of the world are temporary. The fruit of God’s Kingdom is everlasting.

How do we live in the Kingdom of God? We turn our eyes upon Jesus.

When God becomes the center of our day, abundant life begins to take shape: a life filled with joy, purpose, and spiritual fulfillment. It doesn’t happen overnight. We are called to abide in Christ, push out the things that pull us away from Him, and allow His work in us to grow over time.

Worry won’t solve our problems, but Christ will strengthen us.

Replace the things of the world with the things of God. Replace frustration with prayer. Replace temptation and bitterness with service. Steep yourselves in worship. Feed on the Word of God, our spiritual food. Serve others. Build people up rather than serving ourselves.

What is the answer to the dilemma of making our own choices? Turn your eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.

May we show Christ in everything we do and allow Him to change our atmosphere, our hearts, and our lives. Have a blessed week church family 🙏💜. Link to today's service: https://youtu.be/M3nWxNdSHwQ?si=33DNVrG1VmI5P6tz

Today, we celebrate Pentecost: the day the Holy Spirit came upon the believers, empowering them to go forth with boldness, faith, and purpose.

As we gathered for worship today, we were reminded that the same Spirit is still moving, still guiding, still strengthening God’s people.

May we be filled anew with His presence, walk faithfully in His calling, and carry Christ’s love into our homes, our community, and our world.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for worship this Pentecost Sunday. We pray you have a blessed week filled with peace, hope, and the power of the Holy Spirit. Link to today's service: https://youtu.be/t4ASBTm1Dw0?si=ZtoJbNAmlkwQz8ya

📣What a wonderful afternoon of music and fellowship we shared at our Spring Community Concert on Sunday!

Our sanctuary was beautifully filled as we enjoyed performances from 🎺Yonah Brass, 🎸Lisa Deaton, 🎤Raquel Berghoefer, 🎹David George,
🎷Robert Williams, 🎶Deena Handy, and the ✝️CFMC Worship Team & Choir. We were also treated to a special surprise performance by a talented father-and-son 🎻mariachi duo!

From brass and vocals to worship music and unexpected musical gifts, it was truly a joyful afternoon. We are incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so many talented musicians who generously share their gifts with our church and community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, performed, organized, and supported this special event. It was a beautiful reminder of how music can bring people together in worship, joy, and fellowship.

✝️Sunday Reflection: “Grace Keepers”
Titus 2:11–14✝️

There is a time between receiving God’s grace and the return of Christ. How we live in that time matters.

God’s grace is available to ALL people. Everyone! It abounds without limits, giving hope, strength, and courage that we could never achieve on our own.

But grace not only comforts us, it teaches us. It teaches us to say “no” to the things of this world that do not glorify God, and “yes” to faithfully following Christ.

We are called to become grace keepers: shining Christ’s light so that others may experience His grace too. This is not simply an activity to occupy our time while we wait for Christ’s return. We live with blessed hope.

Grace continues to grow within us. It fills us with hope, charity, and purpose. God’s hand envelopes us. He repairs us, equips us, and strengthens us for the work He has called us to do.

May we work diligently, abound in grace, and live as faithful keepers of the grace we have been given. Link to today's service: https://youtu.be/O7lu4aZv59M?si=1f2EDlTUQKOJOBrC
