The River Community Church We are a Jesus centered, Bible believing, Kingdom advancing church! We believe our church was called to advance the Kingdom in the 1000 Islands community!

The River Community Church is formerly the First Baptist Church of the 1000 Islands, a congregation that has served the spiritual needs of the Clayton community since 1840. We have a long and rich history of proclaiming the Gospel message, meeting real needs and reaching people for Jesus Christ. We outgrew our old campus on John St. in 2008. Our new campus was completed and our congregation reloca

ted in 2009, at which time we became The River Community Church. We believe God wants to use our new name, our new facility, and new ministry strategies as tools to reach our community and our region for Christ.
