The dinner which was scheduled to be held this Thursday 1/18 at the Depauville UMC, we are postponing that until February 8th. This is due to the weather we've had and the forecast. Stay safe and warm.

We will cancel service this morning. It seems prudent to not have anyone coming out on the roads today with travel advisories and the anticipation that the snow is just going to continue and intensify. Stay safe everyone.

For everyone concerned about services tomorrow, we won't make any decisions tonight on whether to have services tomorrow or not. My experience with cancelling early has left me disappointed on Sunday when the weather hasn't ended up being quite as devastating as forecast.

That said, we will decide relatively early tomorrow morning about what to do. The information will be posted here but also on the WWNY website which usually is displayed on TV and in various locations on the Internet including WWNY and Newzjunky.

As always we will have a live service no matter what and that will be at 11am if church services are cancelled. Stay safe, don't risk travel, as sometimes only a small distance can make a huge difference and each of us has different comfort levels being out.

Just a reminder that tomorrow the 9am service in Depauville will NOT take place.

There will be an 11am service in Clayton and all are of course welcome. We have something special planned to share so please come and be blessed and encouraged.

There will be traditional candle lighting Christmas Eve services tomorrow evening at 6pm in Depauville and 7:30 pm in Clayton.

We hope to see you tomorrow at some point but if not please know we wish you a Merry Christmas and pray you'll feel the Saviors presence wherever you are.

Well if you weren't aware, this Sunday is Christmas Eve. We are scheduled to do the following for our services.

11am @ Clayton-regular Sunday morning service
There will not be a morning service in Depauville.

Christmas Eve services at 6:00 in Depauville
And 7:30 in Clayton.

The weather appears to be much better than we experienced last year so we hope to see you.

The current plan is to be on Facebook live for all 3 services.

On Thanksgiving day the Clayton UMC with and assist from sister church Depauville UMC, served and made a few deliveries for 40 folks in the community. This was all done for free for those who may have been alone or unable or not wishing to go through the whole process of making a big dinner. Big thanks to the Pastor's wife and Jane for making sure it all went well as the Pastor was in the Hospital. I am home now.
