Clarkston First Baptist Church We, preach and teach hope in Jesus Christ and minister to the whole-person, thereby empowering them to serve.

From humble beginnings in 1881 and founded by former slaves on donated land, the Clarkston First Baptist Church stands today as a powerful, influential institution in the heart of Clarkston, Georgia. With Christian Education as our driving force and Evangelizing the World as our goal, we are excited about the collective and individual advancement made in various areas of the life of the church and

its members. Namely, financial and debt freedom, increased visibility of the church in the community, a renewed commitment to strengthening marriages and families, youth and children and dedication to continued spiritual growth and discipleship development. These advancements propel us to move forward with new energy, zeal and determination with the vision given by God in the development of a family life center. Such a facility will provide an epicenter for social, educational, spiritual and economic empowerment. The Clarkston First Baptist Church Family Life Center will house our Day Care Center, Pre-Kindergarten Education, Sports Ministry, Summer Enrichment Program, Senior Citizens Meeting Place, Conference Facility, Classrooms and Administrative Offices for the Community Development Center, Inc. It will serve as a beacon of life, answering a needy call in providing services to its members, the community of Clarkston and the county at large. As our motto states “We Are Empowering To Serve And Serving To Empower.”

The Clarkston First Baptist Church is committed to using the whole of our resources for the betterment of all. We are committed to providing ministries that reach out and positively impact the lives of all persons who come within our sphere of influence.It is our mission to empower and serve. We do this by being a Christ-centered, Bible-based church, whose foundation is the word of God. Day 7 Malawi

We wrapped up our tour/immersion journey today. Today was filled with so much inspiration, love and care. We visited with local pastors, community leaders, residents whose lives have been impacted and empowered by the work of World Vision.
I was most impacted by a group of 15 young ladies who have applied the principles of transformation to their lives and they are realizing their goals, dreams and vision. Hallelujah! To God be the Glory!

Day 7 Malawi
Today was the Day….. Chosen Day that is. Today 405 children had the opportunity to choose sponsors. We have now added a 9 month old and 2 year old along with their mothers to our family. Words are not available to describe the JOY, Fulfillment and Thrill thus day gas brought to so many. This chosen experience has most definitely been Empowering, Electrifying, Exhilarating and Exciting! We were also blessed to see our daughter Dr. Karla Jade Moore Newborn be chosen by a beautiful young girl. We’re get a chance to interact with her on tomorrow. To experience what we experienced today us truly a God Thing! Feel the energy from the photos.
