Honoring Our First Responders This National First Responders Day!
Today, Wednesday, October 28th, is National First Responders Day. Clarks Mills Community Church would like to take a moment to pause, honor, and pray for the incredible men and women who serve on the front lines every single day.
To our local firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, and 911 dispatchers: Thank you!
Thank you for your courage, your swift action in times of crisis, and your willingness to run toward danger to keep the rest of us safe. Your selflessness is a living example of sacrificial love and service to our neighbors.
"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." – John 15:13 (NIV)
Join us in prayer today: Lord, we lift up all first responders in our community. Protect them as they protect us. Give them strength in times of exhaustion, courage in moments of fear, and peace when they return home to their families. Guard their hearts and minds, and let them feel the deep appreciation of the community they serve so faithfully. Amen.
If you are a first responder in our congregation or local community, please know that we see you, we value you, and we are praying for you not just today, but every day. Thank you for all you do!
