Reconnect with Holy Spirit

1 John 1:9 NLT
“But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.”

Sometimes there is a disconnect.
It is not because God left us. He never leaves us or forsakes us. But sometimes something happens that disconnects us from hearing Him clearly.
That disconnect can come from our own will, our own ways, or sin. We get busy. We start doing what we want to do. We let our emotions lead. We let hurt, offense, anger, jealousy, or resentment get louder than the Spirit.
But the way we reconnect is to repent.
When we confess our sin, He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us. It can happen that quick. We believe, we confess, we repent, and we reconnect.
Conviction is not negative. Conviction is a positive thing because Holy Spirit loves us enough to show us what is getting in the way.
He is not against you. He is helping you come back into fellowship, peace, and truth.
You do not have to stay distant. You do not have to stay disconnected. Holy Spirit is right there, ready to lead you, comfort you, and draw you closer to God.
Here’s your challenge today:
Ask God if there is anything getting in the way of hearing Holy Spirit clearly. If He shows you something, repent, release it, and reconnect with Him today.

You are not here by accident.

God created you for this generation, this season, and this moment in history. He planted eternity inside of you and placed a divine purpose within your heart.
The enemy wants you focused on limitations, mistakes, and fear. But God sees purpose, potential, and Kingdom impact.

This Sunday's message reminded us that we were not created merely to survive life—we were created to influence eternity.

Quiet Enough to Hear Him

John 15:26 NLT
“But I will send you the Advocate—the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me.”

Holy Spirit is always pointing us back to Jesus.
He is the Spirit of truth, and He lives on the inside of us. He is speaking, leading, guiding, and testifying of Jesus. But He will not override our will.
That means we have to be quiet enough to hear Him and sensitive enough to be led by Him.
It is not that God pulls away from us. It is that sometimes we pull away from God. We get busy. We get distracted. Our minds get on different things. Our emotions get loud. Our flesh starts speaking louder than our spirit.
But Holy Spirit never leaves us.
The relationship can become distant when we stop listening, but He is still there. He is still knocking. He is still leading. He is still drawing us back into truth.
That is why the Bible says to be quick to listen and slow to speak. We need to quiet ourselves so we can hear Holy Spirit.
When you hear Holy Spirit, life gets quieter. Not your worship. Not your praise. But the noise of life gets quieter because you are walking with the Lord.
Here’s your challenge today:
Take a few quiet moments today before you react, answer, or make a decision. Ask God to help you hear Holy Spirit clearly and follow His leading.

What an incredible Sunday in the presence of God!
This week, we were reminded of a powerful truth: God is not controlling your life—He is empowering you to live it.
Too often we can find ourselves believing that we're simply stuck with whatever life hands us. But God's Word teaches us that He has given us faith, authority, His Spirit, and His promises to walk in victory.
We were encouraged to stop viewing God as a controlling God and begin seeing Him as the loving Father who knows us, chose us, and has placed a divine purpose within us.
You were created on purpose.
You were chosen before the foundation of the world.
God has placed eternity in your heart.
Your life has Kingdom purpose.
As Pastor David shared, God didn't choose us to control us—He chose us to free us.
Thank you to everyone who joined us this Sunday. We are grateful for every person who worshipped, prayed, served, and gathered together as we grew in God's Word.
We pray this week you walk confidently in who God created you to be and boldly step into the purpose He has for your life.

Holy Spirit Is a Person

John 14:16–17 NLT
“And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth.”

Holy Spirit is a person.
Many people think about Holy Spirit as a feeling, an emotion, a manifestation, power, or speaking in tongues. But those are byproducts. Holy Spirit is a person, just like Jesus is a person.
That means we don’t have to talk about Him like He is far away or hard to reach. He lives on the inside of us.
You are not trying to find Him or locate Him. He is already there. You are learning to communicate with Him, walk with Him, talk with Him, and be led by Him.
Sometimes we look for God in a song, in a service, or through a certain person. But if you are born again, you have already been touched by God. Now you have to cultivate your relationship with Holy Spirit.
How do you build a friendship? You talk to the person. You spend time with them. You listen. You get to know them.
Holy Spirit is not a feeling you chase. He is a person you know.
Here’s your challenge today:
Thank you, God, that I have Holy Spirit inside of me to direct and guide me. Help me recognize His leading today.
