This year at the Festa, we will not be offering to-go meals. We will be happy to serve you on-site for lunch starting at noon. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to welcome you for a great day of food, tradition, and celebration!

🔥 TOMORROW IS THE DAY! 🔥

There has been so much happening at the Portuguese Hall as we prepare for one of our favorite celebrations of the year!

🍖 The meat oven is fired up
🍲 Burners are going for the sopas
🍞 Tables are covered with bread drying for tomorrow’s meal
🥔 Potatoes are already cooked and ready to be mixed for the potato salad
⛺ The tent is up and ready for outdoor seating
🎁 And auction items keep rolling in!

So far we have some incredible donations including gift baskets, stained glass décor, statues, baked goods, and so much more still coming in! Don’t forget to bring your auction items in!

⛪ Mass & Crowning of the Queens
🕙 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church

🍽 Lunch at roughly 12:00 PM at the Chico Portuguese Hall

🎉 Annual Auction begins after lunch at 2:30 PM
🍷 Sweet bread & wine will be served during the auction!

The annual Portuguese Festa, also known as the Festa do Espirito Santo, will be held Sunday, with mass held at St. John Baptist Catholic Church, located at 416 Chestnut St., followed by lunch at the Chico Portuguese Hall

Calling all past Queens of the Chico Portuguese Holy Ghost and Fatima Club! 👑✨

As we celebrate 125 years of faith, tradition, and community at this year’s Festa, we would love to have as many of our past Queens in attendance as possible for this very special milestone celebration!

Join us for Mass, the crowning ceremonies, and our traditional Festa lunch as we honor the generations of Queens who have helped carry on this beautiful tradition through the years. ❤️

If you were a Queen, comment with your name and the year you reigned! If you know when someone else was Queen, please share that as well so we can help update and preserve our club records.

Please also let us know if you plan to attend the Festa this Sunday so we can recognize and announce all past Queens in attendance.

Our Festa Auction is quickly approaching and we are looking for donations to help make this year’s auction bigger and better than ever! The auction is always a fun highlight of the day and an important fundraiser for the Chico Portuguese Holy Ghost and Fatima Club.

We are accepting NEW, UNUSED items including:
✨ Gift cards
✨ Baked goods
✨ Homemade items
✨ Coolers
✨ Games
✨ Gift baskets
✨ Décor, specialty items & more!

Auction item drop off will be at the Chico Portuguese Hall on Saturday, May 23rd beginning at 9:00 AM, or items may also be brought the day of the Festa. If those times do not work, please message our page and we would be happy to arrange another drop off time.
