May 31, 10:30am. Topic: “Awakening Curiosity.” Service led by rev Alè (online).

Join us this Sunday as we explore the theme of “Awakening Curiosity” — an invitation into wonder, openness, and the transformative power of asking deeper questions. Together we will reflect on how rigid certainty can narrow our world, while curiosity can awaken us to new possibilities, deeper connection, and the ever-unfolding nature of life itself. Drawing from Buddhist wisdom, contemplative practice, and lived experience, this service will invite us to cultivate a “beginner’s mind” — a spacious and compassionate way of being present to ourselves, one another, and the mystery of this moment. Come ready to reflect, reconnect, and perhaps rediscover the sacred gift of curiosity.

Encountering Others: A Trans Theology of Solidarity
May 24, 10:30am. Topic: “Encountering Others: A Trans Theology of Solidarity.” Service led by Seth Anderson-Matz (online).

Amid escalating anti-trans political and religious violence, many people are seeking deeper understanding of transgender lives and experiences in an effort to strengthen their advocacy and allyship. But this pursuit of understanding can inadvertently flatten the multi-dimensional complexity of trans life—reducing “transness” to something graspable, while ultimately reinforcing perceived divides between transgender and cisgender people. In this program, Seth Anderson-Matz offers a theological framework for approaching trans solidarity as relational rather than conceptual, illuminates the greater wisdom embodied in trans life, and invites us to reflect on our own experiences of gender within age-old systems of oppression and control.

May 17, 10:30am. Topic: "Are you a Religious Naturalist?"

Our understanding of the universe has been expanding, from a flat earth at the center of the universe to the earth being a grain of dust on the scale of galaxies, hurtling through space 1.6 million miles each day. Can religion hold this cosmic shifting? Widen the circle for religious naturalism: a movement that claims nature is all there is, and this is worthy of awe and reverence.

250th Anniversary: Celebrating the Declaration of Independence.

April 12, 10:30am. Topic: “250th Anniversary: Celebrating the Declaration of Independence.” Service led by Reverend Stacy Craig (online).

On July 4, 2026, the United States will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. This document boldly declares that we have inherent rights from our Creator that allow for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Let us take a moment to pause and ask: How is this going?

March 15, 10:30am. Topic: “Hallelujah” Service led by Reverend Asya Lesly.

This Sunday will be an exploration of Leonard Cohen’s song “Hallelujah.” How do we reconcile the beauty of life with its brokenness, the spiritual side of humanity with its primitivity and failings? Are these all parts of the interconnected web of all existence?
