Pastor John Morgan

Lead Pastor of Word of Life Church in Springfield, Virginia. We have spent a significant part of our lives committed to building the local church.

We love the church and its mission. It presents the reality of Jesus to every generation and transforms lives through effective communication of the Word of God. Local churches all over the world are ministering hope to the broken and propelling people into their destiny with a kingdom-driven agenda. The church is God's idea and it is an awesome one! This love for the church has seen both of us serve in a wide variety of roles, serving or leading, over a long period of time. We want to see churches grow in size and influence, lead by healthy and strong teams. We believe church culture should be cultivated organically, shaped by design and not by default. Our heart is to champion the cause of the local church, no matter where it is on its journey. We love everything about the church: the people, the creativity, and the passion. Nothing is more exciting than feeling the hum of momentum and kingdom progress! Our dream is to work with you, to help your church be everything God has destined it to be.

Aa great night tonight at our Life Group. Getting to hang out with some great men, enjoy some good conversation and eat burgers. Chef Riverson doing it again tonight.

A legit headline from the local news paper many moons ago. This weekend, I’ll tell the story.

One of my favorite moments from Sunday was looking out and seeing our graduates filling the altar was a powerful reminder of why the local church matters.

Over the last five years, I’ve had the privilege of watching many of these students grow in their faith, serve faithfully, and take steps toward God’s purpose for their lives.

Graduation is a great achievement, but my prayer is that this is only the beginning. May they continue to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, trust Him with their future, and become everything He has called them to be.

Anna Bourke Morgan and I are so proud of each and every one of you!!

My heart is so full watching our students step into all God has called them to be. Earning Superior with Invitation at District Fine Arts and heading to Nationals 🎉 it’s the result of hard work, faith, and a willingness to use their gifts for His glory. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you.

The future is bright, and this is only the beginning. Let’s goooo! 🔥

There’s nothing I love more than seeing our church family gathered, celebrating the victory of Jesus. and I loved celebrating Resurrection Sunday with our favorite people.

So grateful for every team member who made it happen—countless hours of practice, preparation, and hard work behind the scenes. You helped create a space for people to encounter Jesus.

This is what Good Friday is all about. Moments at the altar. Tears, surrender, and freedom all because of what Jesus did on the cross. Thank you Jesus for the blood!

That initial spark can blind us to real issues. Pre-marriage counseling helps uncover and address underlying problems before they become major hurdles in your relationship. Don't let attraction overshadow compatibility.
