With this sacred invocation, we open Ancestral Remembrance Month, honoring the timeless brilliance of our first FBA and adopted Saint — George Washington Carver, The Alchemist of the Soil.
🌍 The Legacy of A Natural Scientists ✨️
George Washington Carver was more than an agricultural scientist — he was a spiritual cultivator who listened to the voice of Nature itself.
In a time when the land was stripped, and our people were forgotten, he actual spoke with the soil and plants learned her language.
Through his hands, the peanut, sweet potato, and cowpea became instruments of survival and dignity for us.
He discovered over 300 uses for the peanut — from milk to oils to paints — transforming the poor man’s crop into a kingdom of sustenance.
Saint George is the one who took the humble peanut
and transformed it into nourishment for all nations.
From his hands came peanut butter which lead to the invention of the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches,
peanut butter for the poor man’s budget, and peanut oil for the weary, ashy feet.
What others called a small seed 🌱, he called a revelationproof that divinity hides in the ordinary.
His work fed the South and the rest of America, healed the land, and nourished a generation when the world offered little more than dust and despair, like during a government shut down.
Well Carver’s science was not mechanical or hearless— it was divine communion. He knew, as all our ancestors did, that every seed carries the memory of creation.
🕯️ Our Sacred Pro-Humanist Reflection 🪞
We, the Pro-Humanist Church of GDMMNTR, recognize Saint Carver as one of our Ancestral Saints of Innovation — a man and legend who lived the gospel of Nature’s intelligence.
He reminds us that true wealth grows from soil and soul, not from greed or exploitation. He overcame his adversity of what was done to him and became an unsung hero most rarely acknowledge in American folklore.
Through Carver’s legacy, we reclaim the truth that:
Every act of cultivation is an act of prayer.
Every meal made from the Earth is a communion with our ancestors.
Every once in awhile a peanut butter and jelly sandwich meal should have a Saint George shoutout. 🥪 😋
As Every seed planted in faith, gratitude, and acknowledgement is a seed of freedom, reciprocity, and attainable hope.
