⚔️ THE ART OF WAR — PART II ⚔️

Your enemy may know you’re coming… but that doesn’t mean he knows what you’re coming WITH.

There are some battles where the obvious strategy won’t work.

Some situations require a move nobody expected.

And sometimes, what God gives you to win with looks NOTHING like what you thought a weapon would look like. 👀

This Sunday, we’re going back into 2 Chronicles 20:20–24 for THE ART OF WAR: PART II

🔥 THE WEAPON THEY DIDN’T SEE COMING 🔥

You’ve learned how to GET IN POSITION.

Now the question is…

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU GET THERE?

⚔️ Don’t let the appearance of the battle intimidate you.

⚔️ Don’t assume the enemy has the advantage.

⚔️ And definitely don’t assume you already know how God is going to give you the victory.

There’s another strategy.

And Sunday… we’re going to uncover it. 🔥

If you know somebody who’s been fighting a battle, BRING THEM WITH YOU.

Tag somebody. Invite somebody. Share this post.

DON’T COME ALONE.

Normally on Fridays, I share a word of motivation to encourage someone as we close out the week. But this Friday feels different.

Today, I don’t simply want to motivate you. I want to pray for you.

Over these past few weeks, severe storms have moved throughout Chicago, the South Suburbs and Northwest Indiana, leaving behind widespread power outages, flooding, downed trees and damage throughout our communities.

Even Christ For Everyone is currently without power.

But my heart today is with every person and every family who has been impacted.

🙏🏾 I’m praying for the family sitting in the dark, wondering when the lights will come back on.

🙏🏾 I’m praying for the senior citizen who may be alone, afraid or unsure of what to do next.

🙏🏾 I’m praying for the family looking at damage to a home they worked years to build.

🙏🏾 I’m praying for the parents trying to keep their children comfortable and calm while navigating an unexpected crisis.

🙏🏾 I’m praying for those who have lost food, missed work or experienced an unexpected financial burden because of these storms.

🙏🏾 I’m praying for those whose health and medical needs make losing electricity more than an inconvenience.

🙏🏾 I’m praying for every first responder and emergency worker who has been serving our communities.

🙏🏾 I’m praying for every utility worker who has been working long hours, away from their own families, trying to restore power to ours.

🙏🏾 I’m praying for every community that has been hit and every person who is simply tired and ready for life to return to normal.

Psalm 46:1 declares:

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”

And that’s what I want somebody to remember today.

God isn’t only present when the storm passes.

God is present in the storm.

He’s present while you’re waiting.
He’s present while you’re rebuilding.
He’s present while you’re sitting in the darkness.
And He will still be there when the lights come back on.

This weekend, let’s be intentional about checking on one another. Check on our seniors. Check on your neighbors. Call someone you haven’t heard from. If you have something that someone else needs, help them.

Because sometimes the greatest sermon we can preach isn’t behind a pulpit.

It’s how we love our neighbor when they need us most.

And while our building may currently be without electricity, I’m reminded of something:

Buildings can lose power, but the Church should never lose its light.

Chicago, the South Suburbs, Northwest Indiana and every community affected by these storms, we are praying for you.

May God cover every family, protect every home, strengthen every worker, comfort every heart and bring restoration to our entire region.

We will get through this together. 🙏🏾❤️

⚔️ TOMORROW AT CFE: THE ART OF WAR ⚔️

Are you in the middle of a battle right now?

You’ve been praying.
You’ve been believing.
You’ve been trying to hold everything together.

But if you’re truthful, you’re trying to figure out:

How do I WIN this?

Because sometimes having faith isn’t the problem. Sometimes you need STRATEGY.

You need to know what you’re fighting.
You need to know how the enemy is attacking.
You need to know which weapons God has given you.
And you need to know when to stand, move, fight, and let God fight for you.

This Sunday at Christ For Everyone, we begin a brand-new sermon series:

⚔️ THE ART OF WAR ⚔️

We’re going into the Word of God to discover spiritual strategies for winning real battles.

Battles in your mind.
Battles in your family.
Battles surrounding your future.
Battles against your purpose.
Battles you can see and battles you can’t explain.

The Bible says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood…” Ephesians 6:12

So maybe the reason you’ve been exhausted is because you’ve been trying to fight a spiritual battle with natural weapons.

If you’re in the midst of a battle and you’re trying to figure out how to win, YOU NEED TO BE AT CFE TOMORROW.

⚔️ NEW SERMON SERIES BEGINS THIS SUNDAY ⚔️

THE ART OF WAR

Life is full of battles.

Some battles are visible.
Others are fought in your mind, your heart, your home, your health, your finances, and your faith.

The greatest battles are often the ones no one else can see.

The good news is this: God has not called you to live defeated. He has equipped you to overcome.

Join us as we begin The Art of War, a powerful new sermon series that will teach you how to recognize the enemy’s strategies, stand firm in your faith, break strongholds, and walk in the victory that Christ has already won for you.

No matter what battle you’re facing, there is hope.
There is strength.
There is victory in Jesus Christ.
