***UPDATE*** Now with photos

Friends, this is Pastor Gregory again. I've just been to see the church and we're making the hard call to cancel church on Sunday. ComEd currently expects us to be without power until at least Saturday night and there is some clean up that needs to happen after the power comes back on. I'll update with some pictures soon but I want to assure you that most of the damage to the church was superficial and we'll have everything back up and running soon. In the meantime, no power means no phones or internet for the church, so continue to text, call or email me personally if you need anything. - G

Friends, this is Pastor Gregory. I don't even know what to say about this weather. This is the second time in a month our area has been just hammered by severe storms and I am praying you all are safe. I have heard from some of you and seen pictures of power lines and trees down. The church has no power and ComEd has no estimate of when it will be back on, so communication has been difficult.

If you need help, please call me. My cell phone is in the directory or you can reach out here. If you need a safe place to stay, if you need food or even just to charge your phone, I want to help and I know we have some other members who weren't severely impacted who feel the same. Please stay safe, reach out for help and check on your neighbors. We'll get through this together. Love you all. -G-
