All St. Mary of the Rosary parishioners are invited to join us on Friday, August 14th to celebrate the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary at 5PM followed by rosary making as we participate in this nationwide effort.

Thank you to parishioner Jen Dotts for putting together kits to help our parish create 500 rosaries.

Sunday, August 2, 2026 - Rosary prayer and second collection for fire danger in Stevens, Ferry and Spokane Counties

Dear parish family:

There will be a rosary prayed at St. Mary of the Rosary tomorrow, August 2, 2026 at 9:30AM to ask for Our Lady's intercession in the prevention and suppression of the fires burning in Stevens, Spokane, and Ferry Counties.

Additionally, there will be a second collection to be distributed to those fighting the fires burning near Inchelium. The funds will be given to a trusted person, who teaches at the school in Inchelium, who has been transporting supplies to the firefighters and to those people displaced from their homes due to evacuation.

If you have questions regarding the collection, please speak with Shirley Baker or Kellie Trudeau.

You can also donate to our online giving page on Zeffy. If you want to donate to our collection for fire relief, choose "Social Outreach Fund" within this page and we will make sure it goes to help those in need. Thank you!

We are on parade!

Thank you to everyone who walked with us in today's July 4th Parade in Chewelah. We had a fun time and pounds of candy were distributed to some very happy kiddos. And it was so nice to see family faces of our fellow parishioners along the route.

We are ready for the Valley Fair in August! Who's with us!

Tomorrow is the day! We hope you will join us in marching in the parade to share our Catholic presence in our community.

We will meet in the church parking lot at 9AM and walk together at the staging area on Clay Avenue.

We have plenty of candy to hand out along the parade route and to share with the children marching with us.

Wear red, white, and blue or one of our commemorative t-shirts!

Here is the route for this year’s 4th of July Parade!

We would love as many parishioners as are able to walk the parade route with us, and we can't wait to see familiar faces in the crowd ☺️
