Pastor Scott here...

I hope, and pray, that everybody has a great Memorial Day weekend, taking time to remember what it means for us. If you are in the area, you are invited to our service at FCC on Sunday Morning at 10:30AM.

This Sunday is also Pentecost...so, while certainly taking time to recognize those that have given their lives for our freedom...the message is taken from Acts chapter 2, and is titled "The Holy Spirit's Baptism" This is the first of a two part message that will conclude a week from Sunday. We will be discussing the gift of the Holy Spirit's Baptism, and some of this gifts manifestations. I look forward to sharing!

Also, this coming Tuesday at 6PM, at FCC is our time for food and fellowship. We are having homemade pizza, and if you want to bring a side dish or dessert, that would be great.

Finally, this coming Wednesday, at 6PM, at Jenkins High School gymnasium, is our Baccalaureate service. The public is welcome to attend this Christian Graduation Service. Gary Calvert will lead worship and Blayne McCoy has the message...it should be a powerful evening!

The Harbor fills this gap by placing young adult orphans in residential family-style communities, giving them an education and teaching them skills necessary to maintain a home and thrive in Russian society.

Happy Mother's Day!!

Please attend our service this Sunday, 10:30AM, at FCC. Fittingly for this special day, we will be reviewing The Parable Of The Persistent Widow, taken from Luke 18:1-8.

Also, you are invited to our Food and Fellowship this coming Tuesday, 6PM, at FCC. It has been well attended, and we hope for that to continue.

This coming Sunday, 10:30AM, at FCC, we will be reviewing Luke 17:11-19. We will be reviewing how 10 lepers responded to being cleansed by Jesus. This section of Luke speaks about gratitude.

This coming Tuesday, 6PM, at FCC, we have our Food and Fellowship time.

Pastor Scott here.....with a couple quick points of information...

1. This Saturday our men's fellowship will be taking place at 8AM at the Cowboy Church tent...this will continue through the summer and into the fall...it would be great to see you there!

2. This Sunday at 10:30AM at FCC, we will be continuing in the book of Luke with one of the most direct statements from Jesus about the reality of heaven and hell...we will be reviewing Luke 16:19-31, "The Rich Man And Lazarus"

I wanted to let you know what we will be doing this Sunday, which is Resurrection Day! Some might call it Easter as well.

1. 8AM-Chewelah Park stage...come rain, sun or shine (the current prediction is a sunny morning around 45 degrees, which is great!) we will have our Sunrise service with the Bustin Loose Cowboy Church...we have also put ads in the paper, the radio, and fliers around town...please feel free to invite, inform the community as you wish!

2. 9:30AM at Faith Community Church we are having a time for cinnamon rolls and fellowship...

3. 10:30AM is our service and we will be taking a "Walk To Emmaus"

Please know that we would love to see you at any or all of these events!

We are looking forward to this Sunday at FCC as we celebrate Jesus' entrance into Jerusalem, commonly known as Palm Sunday. The message will be taken from Luke 19:26-46 and is titled, "Palm Sunday: A Day For Decisions And Declarations"

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday, 10:30AM, at FCC. You are definitely invited!!

Also, a week from Sunday is Jesus' Resurrection Day (Easter). While we should certainly reflect on all that happened the week preceding it, we will be offering the following things on Resurrection Day:
1. 8AM-Sunrise service in Chewelah Park...rain/snow or shine!!
2. 9:30AM-Cinnamon Rolls and Fellowship
3. 10:30AM-Service at Faith Community Church.

Pastor Scott here...with the following information on upcoming events that I hope you will be attending!
1. This Saturday at 8AM, at FCC, is our men's breakfast.
2. This Sunday at 10:30AM, at FCC is our service. I will be preaching from Luke 15:11-32, the Parable Of The Lost Son.
3. This coming Tuesday, 6PM, at FCC is our Food and Fellowship.
4. April 5th, at 8AM, is our Easter Service in the Chewelah City Park...more to come about this day.
