49-Man is not weary of supplication for good [things], but if evil touches him, he is hopeless and despairing.
50-And if We let him taste mercy from Us after an adversity which has touched him, he will surely say, "This is [due] to me, and I do not think the Hour will occur; and [even] if I should be returned to my Lord, indeed, for me there will be with Him the best." But We will surely inform those who disbelieved about what they did, and We will surely make them taste a massive punishment.
51-And when We bestow favor upon man, he turns away and distances himself; but when evil touches him, then he is full of extensive supplication. Quran 41:49-51

"No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before We bring it into existence. That is truly easy for Allah. [It is] in order that you may not despair over what has pass you by and not exult over what He has given you.....
Quran 57:22-23
Let us keep this in mind that Allah is in control of all things. He says in Surah Burooj He is the "Effecter of what He intends." 85:16

Moses asked Allah, who are the poorest of your servants? Allah said: Those who desire more than they need.

Moses Asked Allah, who are the richest of your servants? Allah said: Those who are pleased with what they have.

Look to those who have less than you, not to those who have more than you and you will always be thankful for what you have.

Always look to those who have less than you, not to those who have more than you and will always be thankful for what you have.

Every soul shall have a taste of death: And only on the Day of Judgment shall you be paid your full recompense. Only he who is saved far from the Fire and admitted to the Garden will have attained the object (of Life): For the life of this world is but goods and chattels of deception. Quran 3:185

Ye shall certainly be tried and tested in your possessions and in your personal selves; and ye shall certainly Hear much that will grieve you, from those who received the Book before you and from those who worship many gods. But if ye persevere patiently, and guard against evil,-then that will be a determining factor in all affairs. Quran 3:186

In The Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful.
1) Has there (not) upon man a period of time when he was not a thing even mentioned?
2) Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.
3) Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful. Quran 76:1-3

We have already sent Our messengers with clear evidences and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance that the people may maintain [their affairs] in justice. And We sent down iron, wherein is great military might and benefits for the people, and so that Allah may make evident those who support Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might. Quran 57:25
In this verse of the Quran (which was reveled over 1445 years ago) Allah says He sent down Iron. Iron is not originally from the earth. Modern astronomical findings have proven that Iron found on earth has come from giant stars in outer space. How could Muhammad, peace be on him, who lived in the 7th century have this knowledge about Iron when this knowledge was only discovered in the late 20th century? Allah reveled it to him.
