“But after prayers …” I frequently hear this phrase coming from Pastor Johnson Odoyo in our conversations. In mid-October, the Tanzania AC Conference held a weekend youth convention, inviting all their participating churches to attend. Attendance was down this year due to a prolonged drought that has elevated prices while at the same time decreasing personal income. The two WHFMS groups of the Village Church in Dowling Park used the new mission prayer cards in a unique way! They paired a world map with the pictures of the missionaries with lines indicating the different fields they serve. Shout to Steve Reas for his creativity!

Grace Celebrates Homecoming

On Sunday, October 18, my wife and I had the privilege of attending the 129th homecoming celebration of Grace Advent Christian Church in Walterboro, S.C. The sanctuary was packed and the service was a vibrant time of celebration. The church is blessed with a great deal of musical talent, and it was on full display. Wow. You guys really showed up to pray for Anchor Point Church's launch on Sunday. You filled nearly every slot and the Indiana congregation felt your prayers!

𝐈𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝟓𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲...by far the most they've had in years. It was a great Sunday and we look forward, together, to what the Lord will do in that community.

Nice! You guys filled 46 prayer vigil slots yesterday! Today's the last day to grab a spot on Team Anchor Point, the new AC church replant launching THIS SUNDAY.

We pray Lord that you would move in the hearts of people to come and hear your name proclaimed and lifted up in the little white church in New Albany, Indiana this Sunday.
