On June 9, we shared how evangelism efforts in a new mission field in Myanmar had outgrown the small hut where believers gathered. Now we have more joyful news: four new converts have been welcomed as full members!

Praise the Lord for this evidence of fruit and for continuing to build his church. Please pray for these new believers as they grow in their faith. 🙏

Evangelism Is Worth It

The Summer ’26 Witness magazine has dropped! Recently, I visited a friend’s church and I can tell you that I wasn’t expecting the one-two spiritual gut punch from the service and Sunday school. The message was on counting the cost of being a Christian, and the pastor effectively drove home the point that our faith in Christ will cost us something, and it should be a cost we feel....

MTI: Fall Registration Now Open

The lazy days of summer are in full gear, but Ministry Training Institute (MTI) is still hard at work coming alongside churches and leaders. Churches need leaders all year long. We’ve graduated 20 students who have now entered church ministry. Caring for the Shepherds: Counseling and Support at Convention 2026

We are excited to have Michael Gembola, a licensed Christian counselor from Blue Ridge Christian Counseling (brccva.org), join us at the 2026 Triennial Convention August 17-21. Encouraging AC Churches in Mozambique

Africa Area Director Bryce Whiting and Rev. Chris Barton are currently in Mozambique touching base with our churches there. Bryce and Chris spent the first two days interacting with our conference leaders and now they are trying to visit as many churches as possible. So far, each visit brings what Bryce describes as a "Palm Sunday crowd" out to meet them....

LaValle Church Celebrates 150 Years of Ministry

On Sunday, June 7, I was privileged to be part of a weekend celebrating 150 years of ministry at the LaValle Advent Christian Church in La Valle, Wisc. The celebration began with Praise in the Park on Saturday afternoon. Pastors Summit in New Hampshire

It was an honor to join 30+ pastors from throughout the Eastern Regional Association for the Pastor’s Summit held at the Alton Bay Christian Conference Center in Alton Bay, N.H., from June 2–4, 2026. The Restoration Network hosted and planned this event as an opportunity for fellowship, honest dialogue, worship and prayer. It was a fruitful time to engage with fellow pastors to worship, but also to take time to ask real questions, share real answers and charitably discuss different important topics within our denomination and churches....
