Sardis Weekday School is back in session, and we kicked off the year with chapel together! 🎉

Pastor Allysen shared this year's chapel theme with the children: "I am a child of God! You are a child of God! Everyone is a child of God. We are all part of God's family!"

Beth had the kids bouncing and singing about God's love, and Amanda shared the story of how God created the world, every living thing, and each one of us.

We can't wait for more mornings like this all year long with these sweet kids and their loving teachers. 💛

Did you know? 🌍💛 Our Compassion Camp kids' sweet rendition of "Jesus Loves Me" — banner and all! — made its way across the world to our Kenya mission partners at Macedonia Presbyterian Church! 🎶

What a beautiful reminder that compassion has no borders. Our littlest faith explorers are already connecting hearts across continents! 🙏✨

Rolling out the last load of our Hunger Doesn't Take A Vacation Summer Food Drive for Nourish Up donations! And we are excited to share - WE DID IT! 🎉 Summer food drive goal: smashed!

This summer, Sardis donated an incredible 3,178 pounds of food to Nourish Up — blowing past our goal of 3,000 pounds! 🙌

And here's the best part: Nourish Up told us that Sardis' donations were the most reliable of the summer. That's what happens when a community shows up — church members, MSGs, VBS, our weekly Zumba class, and friends from the community all played a part.

Hunger doesn't take a vacation, and neither does this church family. Thank you to everyone who gave! ❤️

A week later and we're still tappin' our feet! 🎶🥓 Thank you to everyone who came out for Biscuits & Bluegrass Sunday, and a special thank you to our Contemporary worship band, and guest musicians for leading such soul-stirring music! The biscuits were gone in a flash and the fellowship was as sweet as ever. Grateful for this community and can't wait to do it again next year!
