Today, on behalf of our elders, Pastor Jonathan recognized two new deacons to serve our church. They will join Dale Strickland (Deacon of Facilities), Chris Helms (Deacon of Finance), and Brandon Madden (Deacon of Finance). J.R. Melton is serving a term as a Deacon of Facilities, and Greg VanBenschoten is serving a term as a Deacon of Member Care. We are so blessed by our faithful deacons and grateful for their ministry to us. Pray for J.R. and Greg as they serve!

Celebrate Father's Day with us tomorrow, Sunday, June 21. Our Kids Connection Week has come to an end, but the truths taught and the memories made will continue on. A HUGE thanks to Pastor Harold and Mrs Peggy for organizing and running an effective week…to all the volunteers who took off work and dedicated time to serve…and to the families who entrusted their children to us this week. Laurel is a special place for every member of the family!
