We are an independent Baptist church located in the village of Shannock at the center of South County, Rhode Island. We are a family of believers that are committed to serving Christ in our local area, to knowing Him better, and making Him known to others. y is available for all services, and a junior church program is provided for preschool and elementary age children during the preaching portion of our morning worship service. In all of our services and ministries, we stress the importance of the faithful teaching and preaching of God’s Word to help each person establish and grow in his or her personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The music used in our worship and praise services consists of traditional hymns of the faith, interspersed with some more contemporary songs and gospel choruses that reflect our church mission and emphasis. Although we use the King James Version of the Bible in pastoral preaching and for consistency in Scripture memorization, we realize there are several quality modern translations that are used by our members and others who attend our services.
