A God Who Encourages
May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus. Romans 15:5
If you reach the point in life where you feel discouraged and unable to cope, it is good to spend quality time in the presence of God. There you will receive the encouragement that only He can give.
Be still and surrender yourself anew to Him and remember that He is God. In the silence of His divine presence, you can recall all His glorious promises of encouragement. remember that in both the storm and the stillness, God is with you. He does not want you to remain in the dark valley of despondence; He will give you the strength to complete the task He has set before you. Prayer: Holy god, when life is too much for me, I withdraw into Your presence and there I find the comfort and the strength that I need. AMEN!!
