This coming Saturday” between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm (or choose time that works for you best)

Please reply to this post indicating what items below you will help with, and what time:

1- clean play ground
2- remove shrubs and w**d (please bring yard tools with you)
3- paint exposed wood on play ground. (Paint & roller will be provided)
4- remove leaves from water drains (bring gloves as needed)

5- remove Eid signs from exterior
6- clean parking lot.
7- help with painting classroom downstairs.
8- help with painting office upstairs as needed.

EID Adha has been confirmed to be on Wednesday June 28th, 2023. We ask Allah to bless us and shower us with his mercy in these blessed days.

EID prayer, location and activities will be announced in the next couple of days.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh Dear Muslims,

Central Mosque of Charleston wishes you a happy Eid. Eid-Al-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday, April 21st, 2023, which will mark the end of Ramadan. You are all invited to join us for the Eid prayer that will be held at Palmetto Islands County Park, 444 Needlerush Parkway, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464 (Big Oak Shelter). Here are some announcements for Eid day :

Takbeer : starts at 9:30 AM
Eid prayer : Starts at 10:00 AM SHARP

Everyone MUST bring his/her prayer rug
There will be organized activities after the Eid prayer (Charcoal Grilled Hamburgers, Chicken, Beef and Hot Dogs)
Please bring your favorite side dish and dessert to share with everyone
Many fun activities for the entire family (Jump Castle, Henna, Face Painting and Glitter, Toys for Children, Goodie Bags, Kona Ice, Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Balloons, and many more surprises!)
Please try to leave your house early so you can avoid traffic and be on time for the prayer, please use Google maps or the Waze App for the best and shortest route.
Do not forget to give Zakaat Al-Fitr before Eid prayer. It is $8 per household member and you can add more if you wish.
Volunteers would be greatly appreciated for helping us organize and set up the park shelter/area. If you are willing to help, please come at 8:00am.

Assalamu Alaikum dear CMC members,

This is to inform you that the moon has not been sighted in Saudi Arabia. Therefore Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated Monday May 2nd , 2022

Due to some concerns we have received from several members of our community, the Shurah Council has decided to move the Eid Prayer (Salatul Eid) to North Charleston Wannamaker County Park located at 8888 University Blvd, which offers better parking and bathroom facilities.
Eid prayer will be held, Insha Allah, at North Charleston Wannamaker County Park located at:
8888 University Blvd, North Charleston, SC 29406
Takbeer starts at 9:00 AM and the prayer starts at 9:30 am sharp .

Volunteers would be greatly appreciated for helping us set up the Eid Breakfast. All volunteers are requested to arrive at 8:00 AM to help organize. Please bring a dish to share with others.

SUNNAH OF EID

·Pay Your Zakatul Fitr (Fitra) before Eid Salah
·Eat an odd number of dates before coming to the Eid prayer
·Take a bath before coming to the Eid prayer
·Men can put perfume and fragrance, women are not allowed to put perfume
· Women must wear the Islamic dress: Hijaab and head scarf
·Bring your Personal Prayer Rug. Start TAKBEER from home

“Allaho Akbar Allaho Akbar La Ilaha ila Allah Allaho Akbar Allaho Akbar Allaho Akbar Wa lillahi Alhamid”

·Greet your brothers and sisters with saying:

“Takabala Allaho Mina wa Minqum”

·Come from one route and go back to your home using a different one.

Assalamu alaykoum, Brother Hassan Khachab passed away. Please pray for Jannatul Firdaus for the deceased and patience (Sabr) for the family .The funeral prayer will be held tomorrow Friday April 29th after jomoa prayer , then proceeds to our cemetery at 2415 Lupine st for burial.

Assalamuaalikum Wa Rahmatuallahi Wa Barakatuhu

Alhumdulillah Allah SWT gave us the opportunity to witness another holy month of Ramadan. We thank Allah SWT for this blessed month. May Allah SWT accept all our Ibadat, siyam, qiyam , sadaaqaat and Zakat.
We thank all families that cooked food and supported the masjid in many other ways, all our volunteers and donors. May Allah SWT put barakah in your rizq, families, health, and happiness.

Our last Saturday iftar will be a combined community iftar. Join us and make it successful. It was a pleasure to see all the community members join in to keep our mosque alive during this holy month. Please sign up for a dish you can make to share with the community.

Assalamu Alaykum Brothers and sisters,

We would like to extend our congratulations on the month of Ramadan. We ask Allah to bless you and your families and keep you safe, strong and healthy.
As of today April 19th, 2022 any restrictions placed on people entering the masjid has been lifted.
We would like to remind you to join us for our family iftar on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. We welcome your support .
