You don't have to have it all figured out before coming to God.
You don't have to win every battle, break every habit, or clean up every mistake first.
The invitation has never been "Get perfect and then come home."
The invitation is simply: Take the next step.
Walk with Him. Trust Him. Get back up when you fall.
The Father isn't watching from a distance waiting for you to earn your way back. He's ready to meet you with grace, mercy, and open arms.

We were not born neutral. Scripture is clear — our starting point is condemnation. But God did not send his son to leave us there. John 3:17 is the verse we often skip past, but it changes everything: God sent Jesus not to condemn the world, but to save it. That's the heart of the gospel. Not judgment waiting for you — but a Savior running toward you.

Our kids at VBS shared their God Sightings with us—moments when they've seen God at work in their lives.
This Sunday, take a moment to read some of them. In the meantime comment below ways you have seen God in your life this week.
Big or small, we'd love to hear how you've seen God's goodness, faithfulness, or presence this week.
Let's encourage one another by telling the stories of what God is doing!

We've talked about bringing sin into the light and leaning on community. But here's the most counterintuitive truth: you can't beat sin by staring at it. Telling yourself "don't do it, don't do it" every morning only gives it more power. Galatians 5:16 says, "Walk by the Spirit and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." The answer isn't trying harder — it's looking in a different direction entirely. Start each morning with one simple prayer: Holy Spirit, guide my mind today. When your eyes are fixed on Jesus, the road ahead gets a whole lot clearer. 👀✝️

Sunday we talked about how we hide our sin instead of bringing it into the light. But light is exactly where sin loses its power. 1 John 1:9 promises that when we confess, God is "faithful and just to forgive us and purify us from all unrighteousness." That purifying doesn't just happen between you and God in private — there is real power in trusted community. Find one person this week and say, "I'm struggling. Can you pray with me?" It feels scary. Do it anyway. We were never meant to fight this alone. 💬🙏

Adam and Eve's first instinct after they sinned was to hide. And honestly? We haven't changed much. We minimize it, close the blinds, or convince ourselves it's not that bad — as long as nobody finds out. But here's the thing: God already sees it. And He's not waiting to condemn you. Romans 8:1 says, "There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." That guilt you're carrying? You don't have to. The first step to dealing with sin isn't cleaning yourself up — it's stopping the hiding. What would change in your life if you stopped pretending everything was fine? 🙏
