Today, we celebrate the Memorial of St. Isidore, patron saint of farmers. The virtues found in the lives of Isidore and his wife, Maria – commitment to family, love for the land, service to the poor and a deep spirituality – are qualities that are found in rural America.

The Ascension is not an ending—it’s a sending. Christ entrusts His disciples with a mission to all nations, with the promise to remain always. That mission continues today—and we are part of it.

In 1917, Our Lady of Fatima called the world to: Pray. Repent. Return to God.

Her message is still a mission for all.

Today, we join that mission—praying for all nations and all people.

📿 Pray the Rosary for the missions.

He didn’t go where it was easy. He went where no one else would.

St. Damien of Molokai gave his life to those the world had abandoned—building homes, caring for the sick, and restoring dignity to the forgotten.

He didn’t just serve them. He became one of them.

His life reminds us that mission is not about distance—it’s about love that stays, even when it costs everything.

Today, we are called to see Christ in the most overlooked and to love without hesitation.

Today we mark one year of Pope Leo XIV’s pontificate. In his first year as the Holy Father, he has reminded the Church that we are called to go forth—to proclaim the Gospel and serve the world.

But this mission did not begin in Rome. For 14 years in Peru, he lived as a missionary—walking with communities, proclaiming Christ, and witnessing to the Gospel in daily life.

He does not just send missionaries. He has been one.

During her apparitions, Our Lady of Fatima instructed the children of Fatima to pray and offer penance for souls who need it. Throughout the rest of their earthly lives, all three children insisted their relationship with God was the most important part of their lives. May we draw inspiration from their fervor and turn to our source of life in prayer. 🙏😇
