🎙️ New Episode Drops Tomorrow!

How powerful is God the Father?

In the 3rd episode of our Baptist Faith & Message 2000 Catechism Summer Series, we explore the greatness of God's power—not as an abstract idea, but as a source of hope, confidence, and worship for every believer.

From creation and providence to salvation and the promises of Scripture, God's power reminds us that nothing is beyond His sovereign rule and loving care.

🌿 Monday Meditation from Sunday 🌿
đź“– Exodus 20:17
“You shall not covet…”

This final command moves beneath actions and words and presses into the desires of the heart. Coveting is a quiet sin—it often goes unnoticed by others—but it reveals a deep dissatisfaction within us. It’s the belief that what God has given is not enough, and that life would be better if we had what someone else has.

Whether it’s possessions, relationships, success, or status, coveting shifts our focus from gratitude to comparison. Instead of rejoicing in God’s provision, we begin to resent it.

But the gospel invites us into something better: contentment rooted in Christ. In Philippians 4:11–13, Paul speaks of learning to be content in every circumstance—not because he had everything, but because he had Christ.

God calls us to trust that He knows what we need and that His provision is both good and enough.

✨ Reflect:
Where are you tempted to compare your life with others or desire what isn’t yours? What would it look like this week to cultivate gratitude and rest in what God has already given you?

đź’ˇ VBS 2026: Thank You, Chapin Baptist! đź’ˇ

What an incredible week at Illumination Station!

We are so thankful for every volunteer who served, every parent who entrusted us with their children, every student who led, every donation that was given, and every prayer that was prayed. Your faithfulness made it possible for hundreds of kids to hear the greatest news in the world.

But VBS was never the finish line—it was the starting point.

The songs may have ended, the decorations may come down, and the games may be over, but the Gospel continues to shine. Our prayer is that the seeds of God's Word planted this week would grow into lifelong faith in Jesus Christ, God's Promised and Perfect Son.

If your family joined us this week and you're looking for a church home, we'd love to welcome you to Chapin Baptist Church. We are a church committed to Biblical exposition, authentic community, and making disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God.

Join us this Sunday:
📍 Chapin Baptist Church
⏰ 9:45 AM – Sunday School for all ages

We would love the opportunity to worship with you, answer your questions, and walk alongside your family as you grow in Christ.

Thank you for making VBS 2026 such a joy. The lights may dim at Illumination Station, but the Light of the World continues to shine! ✨

"Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, 'I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.'" — John 8:12

✨ VBS Night 4 Recap | Illumination Station ✨

What an incredible night at VBS! 🎉

Last night, our kids learned that Jesus is the Proven Son of God through Mark 14:43–16:8. As they walked through Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection, they discovered that the empty tomb proves He is the Savior who conquered sin and death and gives eternal life to all who trust in Him. ✝️✨

🎉 Family Night is TONIGHT!

Join us as we celebrate an amazing week of VBS! We'll worship together, see what the kids have learned, and rejoice in the good news of Jesus. We can't wait to celebrate with our VBS families and church family!

Thank you to every volunteer, parent, and child who has made this week such a blessing. See you tonight!

Summer Marriage Series is Underway!

Our Summer Marriage Series kicked off this past Sunday, but it's not too late to join us!

Sundays | 9:45am | The Pointe Worship Area
June 7 – July 26

Together we'll be walking through The Meaning of Marriage by Timothy & Kathy Keller with teaching from Nathan McCarthy, Steve Johns, Kyle Huntsinger, and Troy Handeland.

This study is for Student Ministry age and above and is designed for everyone—married, engaged, dating, single, widowed, or anywhere in between. The goal is to grow in our understanding of God's design for marriage, singleness, covenant, and the gospel, seeing how they all point us to Christ and His Church.

If you're looking for a refreshing change of pace this summer, consider taking a break from your regular Sunday School class or small group and joining us for the series. It's a great opportunity to learn alongside students and adults from across our church family and return to your regular class in August encouraged and refreshed.

Can't make all eight weeks? That's okay! Join us for June, July, or simply come whenever you're able. There will be plenty of seating available.

We'd love to have you with us this summer as we grow together in God's Word.

🎙️ New Episode Now Available | Pastoral Associates Podcast

What guides the reign of God the Father? Is He ruling randomly—or with perfect wisdom, purpose, and love?

In Episode 3 of our Baptist Faith & Message 2000 Catechism Summer Series, we explore the question:

"According to what purposes does God the Father reign?"

Together we'll see that God's sovereign rule is never arbitrary. He reigns according to His eternal purposes for His glory, the good of His people, and the fulfillment of His redemptive plan in Christ.

đź“– Be encouraged as we discuss:
âś… God's sovereign purposes throughout history
âś… Why His plans can be trusted even when we don't understand them
âś… How His reign gives believers confidence, hope, and assurance

Whether you're driving to work, taking a walk, or spending time in God's Word, we pray this episode strengthens your faith and deepens your understanding of the God who reigns over all things.
