Yesterday, the Annual Conference acknowledged and celebrated the retirement of our pastor, Rev. Jim Jones. His 36 years of service to the Oklahoma United Methodist Church and the gentle care of God’s people is truly an accomplishment and we are grateful for our opportunity to have him fill our pulpit and our hearts in this his final appointment. We send Pastor Jim into his next chapter with prayer and gratitude.

We are thrilled to share that our beloved member Richard has been recognized by our Bishop as a fully certified Lay Speaker in the Oklahoma Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. This meaningful milestone reflects both his deep commitment to serving Christ and his faithful dedication to our church community.
Lay ministry has long been at the heart of the Methodist movement, and Richard’s willingness to step into this calling continues that rich tradition in a powerful way. We are grateful for the ways he leads, serves, and strengthens the life of our congregation.
