We had a great service on Sunday morning.

A thought to consider based on the sermon: Christ gave His life for you. Therefore, if you have received His Word, if you have believed in Him, and because of that are now in His body, then are you actually different? Or are you blending into the world?

Believing in Christ should lead us to change. Come as you are, but be transformed. Be better today than yesterday.

Did you know that the same Savior who walked with the disciples in Jerusalem is the same Savior who now intercedes for you? The Bible says that He sits at the right hand of God, making intercession for us (Romans 8:34). If you are saved, you have the greatest intercessor anyone could have: Jesus Christ. A couple of thoughts from this morning's sermon!

“God does not look at your courage, your amazing theological precision, or lack thereof. God is looking for how well you respond to His word.”

“Many Christians sitting in pews are content to pay lip service to the Lord. They have a form of godliness, but their hearts are far from the Lord.”

“As the pastor of Liberty Baptist Church, it is my desire that all men and women come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. But, please don't stop there, obey His word!”

Someone came by the church and cleared out the parking lot of snow. They also cleared the driveway so we can drive in and out. I am also thankful that brother Tim and brother Sheldon came by to help clean up around the walking areas. We serve a mighty God who provides beyond our needs. I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday evening.
