Jesus, I trust You with the questions I cannot settle on my own. Draw me toward the Father when I am tempted to hide behind religious performance. Let Your truth shape my choices and Your life renew my hope. Give me gentleness toward those who ask difficult questions, and keep my confidence rooted in You rather than in winning an argument. Father, thank You that Jesus prayed for His followers rather than leaving them to establish their own holiness. Let Your truth correct what I have learned to excuse. Give me a willing heart when Scripture unsettles my pride or exposes my impatience. Keep me from using holy words to disguise unkindness. As I meet people today, help me carry truth with humility and listen without abandoning what is faithful. Amen.,(john 17:17)

God of every nation, widen my prayers beyond the people whose views resemble mine. I bring before You those entrusted with public authority and those who bear the consequences of their choices. Give leaders wisdom to listen, courage to reject corruption, and concern for vulnerable households. Protect people living under violence or intimidation. Keep my anger from becoming a wish for another person's destruction. Show me where honest conduct in my own community can support the peace I ask of You. Amen.(1 Tim. 2:1-2)

O Lord my Shepherd, I shall not want. All I have needed thy hand hath provided. You have protected me, acting as my rock and shield against all evil. Alas, courageous God, I have sinned, allowing evil to enter my heart even whilst You stood guard against it. Forgive me for this, and know that my pure love for You shall not wane. I pledge all of this in honor of my service to You and Your son, Jesus Christ. Amen.(Ps. 232)

Be present in my mind, O Lord, my stronghold against all evil. I shall worship You with all of my days, keeping Your love in my heart every moment that I am alive. Impress on me Your values so that I may impress them on those that come in contact with me. Forgive me for not always keeping You in mind, even doubting You, whilst You never abandoned me, carrying me when I was weary. I pray these things in Jesus' name, Amen.(Deut. 6;6)
