We were surrounded by lots of love at our first session of 2026, "Red, Hearts & Valentine's Day" during our early Valentine's Day celebration! We heard about God's great love for us in sending His Son, Jesus, and how He takes care of us each and every day in Pastor Spaude's opening devotion. We sang "Jesus Loves Me" and read a book about ways that we can show Christian love to one another during circle time. The little sweethearts enjoyed pretend play with felt pieces of chocolates in chocolate boxes and even "sent" valentines to their friends and family at our toy mailbox in our fine motor skills center. The biggest hit, as always, was the sensory bin which was filled with valentine-themed baking items.

Happy 2026! Our program has been truly blessed by God for the past 6 years! We are red-y and can heart-ly wait to celebrate all of God’s love this Tuesday the 6th at 10am at our first session of the new year!

Happy Birthday, Jesus! Our December session on Tuesday was a wonderful way to kick off the Christmas season while remembering the true reason for the season - Jesus' birth. We heard the Christmas story, had several fun nativity arts and crafts, played with red and green kinetic sand, made pretend birthday cake and donuts, and ended by singing happy birthday to Jesus with a cupcake treat!

We had a rockin' good time at our Music & Instruments session this morning! We started by reading how God is the ultimate musician, creator of all sounds. After we shook maracas and danced to our Good Morning song, and had a special guest musician who taught us about different instruments. The children enjoyed making shakers out of cardboard tubes and filling them with dried beans, playing instruments like drums and xylophones, and looking for mini instruments in the sensory bin. We ended with a snack that looked like a keyboard! 🎹

Join us at our East Valley WELS Fall Festival co-hosted with Heritage Lutheran in Gilbert and Pilgrim Lutheran in Mesa. The event will be at Pilgrim Lutheran Campus on Saturday, November 1st from 4:00-7:30PM. It will be an evening filled with worship, fellowship, food, fun, and family-centered activities that will remind us all that “where two or three gather in My name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:20). From a friendly Cook-Off that’ll bless your taste buds, to a Trunk or Treat for the kids, and games for the whole family, there’s truly something for everyone!
