Did you know that the Jewish Calendar was the very first Mitzvah that Hashem gave the Jews as they became a nation?
These last two weeks, we learned all about the science and systems of this fascinating Mitzvah through the Torahs lens: how the Jewish calendar follows the cycle of the moon, what that lunar cycle looks like, how the Jews determined and marked Rosh Chodesh (the beginning of the new Jewish month), and why the calendar is so important.
