Hi, I’m Meghan Janney, owner of Meghan Janney Photography.
My “why” began with my grandmother, who lost a baby of her own. That story stayed with me, but it wasn’t until I began volunteering with Sweet Grace that I truly understood the impact of remembrance photography. Walking alongside families in their hardest moments and preserving the brief but beautiful lives of their babies has changed my heart and my perspective on life. Every session reminds me how powerful photographs can be when memories are all a family has left to hold onto. It is an incredible honor to provide families with tangible memories of the love they have for their child and to serve them during such a deeply meaningful time.

Our garden along the side of the building had become quite overgrown. With the many needs that fill our days, our staff and volunteers have been focused on caring for families, and this little area had gone unattended for some time.
When the young adult group from offered their time and energy to help, we were so grateful. As I stopped by to check on their progress, I realized they were doing something that beautifully reflected the heart of our ministry.
Many of the families who come to us arrive carrying deep grief—feeling overwhelmed, wounded, and tangled in the “weeds” that loss can bring. With God’s help, we walk alongside them, gently caring for those tender places and helping them find healing, hope, and purpose. We don’t rush the process; we simply take one step at a time together.
By the end of their morning, this space looked refreshed and cared for, but it also reminded me of something important: gardens require ongoing attention. If left alone, the weeds will eventually return. Grief is much the same. It is not something that is fixed once and forgotten. It is a lifelong journey that requires care, support, and tending over time.
Thank you, friends from , for giving your time, your hard work, and for providing such a meaningful picture of what we strive to do every day at Sweet Grace Ministries. Your service blessed us in more ways than you know.

“All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:15
