Meet The Teacher Monday!

Karie Johnson ~ 5th Grade Teacher

Hello SJA community! I am excited to introduce myself! My name is Karie Johnson, and I am elated to serve as the new fifth grade teacher at St. Joan of Arc. Coming to you all from Denver, Colorado and with over 13 years of experience at the intermediate grade level, I am passionate about elementary education and dedicated to creating a nurturing and positive learning environment for each one of your children. I am extremely outgoing and enjoy making all learning fun, engaging, and rigorous. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, exercising, and fishing. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year rooted in faith as the middle school years are upon us. I am grateful for the opportunity to join the St. Joan of Arc team and look forward to working with you all in the 2026-2027 school year.

Elizabeth will be attending Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School this fall. There, she's excited to make new friends. She will miss the SJA community. Her favorite memory is the Cedar Point trip. Isabella will be attending Walsh Jesuit High School this fall. There, she's excited to meet new people and play volleyball. She will miss how close the SJA school community is. Lilly will be attending Notre Dame Cathedral Latin High School this fall. There, she's excited for the chicken nuggets and the cookies. She will miss the relationships she's formed and Gianna's Uncle Dom. Her favorite memory is Ellie's laugh attacks.
