Today, we share with heavy hearts the obituary of Bro. Gary Bladen Sr.

Bro. Gary was a lifelong member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and served faithfully as a deacon for more than 25 years. He was the ultimate deacon—always present, always serving, and always willing to help.

He knew every family. He knew the business of the church. He was our handyman, our lawn guy, and the person we could count on to get things done. But beyond all that, Bro. Gary was a friend. Most importantly, he was a man who loved the Lord and lived out his faith through his service to others.

His presence, his service, his friendship, and his love for the church will be deeply missed. Our heartfelt love, prayers, and condolences go out to his family during this difficult time.

Rest well, Bro. Gary. Your work here is done, but your legacy of faith and service will live on.
