Small actions result in major changes.

Matthew 13:31-33
He told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and mixed into fifty pounds of flour until all of it was leavened" (v. 33).

How might this parable encourage you in seasons where God's work feels slow or unseen? How do your efforts in God's Kingdom relate to His sovereign control?

Pray: Jesus, thank You for reminding me how big things can come from my small and unseen faithfulness to You.

Jesus frees us from satan's power.

Matthew 12:22-32
"How can someone enter a strong man's house and steal his possessions unless he first ties up the strong man? Then he can plunder his house" (v. 29).

What does the strong man image make you think about God? About satan? Who are people in your life you can share the gospel with so they can be freed from satans's power?

Pray: Father, thank You that You have all power over satan. Help me lead and encourage others out of his bo***ge and into life with You.

God's presence is with us.

Luke 10:17-24
"For I tell you that many prophets and kings wanted to see the things you see but didn't see them; to hear the things you hear but didn't hear them" (v. 24).

Are you taking time to acknowledge and discern the presence of God within you? Where is a place you can go to help you focus on the presence of God in your life?

Pray: Lord, thank You for Your Spirit that rests in my heart.

God is preparing you.

1 Samuel 17:45-54
David said to the Philistine, "You come against me with a sword, spear, and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord of Armies" (v. 45a).

How is God preparing you to carry out His purpose? What obstacles do you face in fulfilling your God-given mission?

Pray: Lord of Armies, empower me by Your Spirit to courageously carry out Your purpose for Your eternal glory.

Let God disrupt your routine.

Exodus 3:1-10
"Therefore, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh so that you may lead my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt" (v. 10).

What are the advantages and disadvantages of routines? What are some reasons God might change your normal routines?

Pray: God, give me the faith to trust You when You interrupt my routine.

God freed you to live for Him.

Leviticus 26:1-13
"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, so that you would no longer be their slaves. I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to live in freedom" (v. 13).

What is going on in your life that distracts you from prayer and Bible study? How does knowing that God freed you from bo***ge to sin encourage you to walk with Him?

Pray: God, give me the strength and resolve to walk with You in my freedom.
